Brand: SIG Sauer
Model: P226 Legion Full Size
Caliber: 9mm
Barrel Length: 4.4″
Capacity: 10rds
Sights: X-Ray (Square)
The Legion P226 is finished in Cerakote® Elite Legion gray coating, custom G-10 grips with a Legion medallion, the SIG SAUER Electro-Optics X-RAY high visibility day/night sights comes with three magazines. The P226 in DA/SA includes a reduced and contoured Elite beavertail, which allows for a higher grip, but a reduced profile, thus eliminating printing. More aggressive front strap checkering and additional checkering under the trigger guard enhance the grip. An X-Five undercut has been applied to the trigger guard, allowing for a higher grip and greater control. Front cocking serrations provide greater purchase for cycling the action, clearing the firearm, or conducting press checks. The DA/SA is available in 9 mm. The DA/SA also features low profile decocking and slide catch levers to reduce the risk of snagging. An enhanced polished action with the SRT (Short-Reset Trigger) is augmented with a Grayguns, Inc. designed P-SAIT trigger. In addition, a solid steel guide rod adds weight where it matters most.
The P226 Legion RX SAO variant brings the same feature set to the table in a single-action only package. The addition of the SIG Custom Works Flat Trigger provides an exceptional feel and consistent trigger pull regardless of finger placement. The SAO is available in 9mm.

1 year agoI'm really happy with my new Sig 226 legion SAO. I had a da/sa 226 but sold it for this one. I've been shooting 1911s and like the easy first trigger pull on the sao. Naturally, it's very accurate. I'm glad that I had some 15 round mags left over from my da/sa because this one just has 10 round mags.

1 year agoI purchased this legion a couple months ago and i gotta say its fast approaching being my favorite range pistol. I haven’t trained with a 1911 style action so for me its not a carry but a great bedside piece as long as you respect this trigger and a incredibly sweet race gun and should be respected as such because the trigger is insane even without having a trigger job fyi for those of you that are interested.

1 year agoThis is my favorite pistol to take to the range. I have 750 rounds thru it without a single malfunction. The sites are great. What sets this firearm apart from anything I have ever owned is the trigger. It is amazing. The reset is phenomenal. I can shoot this pistol more quickly and with more accuracy than any other pistol. The follow up shots are quick. I really enjoy this. This pistol is also my nightstand gun.

1 year agoI love my P226 SAO Legion. I was a dedicated 1911 guy, until I bought this, and I am not sorry. Incredibly controllable, and accurate, with a phenomenal trigger. With the very short reset, follow up shots are right on the button.

1 year agoAs this was my first sig sauer firearm, I couldn’t be more happier than I am now. Yesterday I put the first hundred rounds through my P226 legion SAO and I was blown away. The trigger is ridiculously smooth and effortless and the reset is incredible as well. The quality of craftsmanship and operation of my P226 legion was perfect to say the least. I look forward to many more purchases of sig sauer firearms.

1 year agoWas in the market for a single action auto handgun. After feeling the light crisp trigger, short reset and the amazing ergonomics of the grip I purchased immediately. Excellent quality and super accurate with a variety of various bullet weights and velocities. Love it, amazing shooter!!

1 year agoThe P226 SAO Legions along with the P229 Legion are the greatest production handguns ever created!!! I carried both in duty for several years and they were always 100% reliable, the Legions are a step above! PLEASE SIG NEVER STOP MAKING THE P229/P226!!! PERFECTION! The SAO trigger is better than any of my Kimber 1911 triggers! Sig this is a home run! Good job!

1 year agoOne of the most reliable, most comfortable, and most accurate pistols I own. A picture, or two, is worth a thousand words. Here are two pictures from the range yesterday.

1 year agoI prefer hammer fired, single action pistols. I carried a BHP for many years, and it was, and is, a great pistol. It was the only single action 9mm that I ever considered owning…, until this. It is simply a masterpiece of a pistol. I have never found a purpose for a rail on any pistol I own, and most likely never will, but I know most people just have to have them. Other than that, I wouldn’t change a thing. The trigger is fabulous, the sights are very nice, and the fit and finish are beautiful,
