1 year agoBuilt to last, with a synthetic stock and forearm, a synthetic coating over the outside of the steel receiver and a polymer coating on its inside, and a barrel that’s chrome plated on the inside and MOBL coated on the outside. The manufacturing facility in Italy is highly automated, giving more quality for the money with good fit and finish. There’s an article on Field & Stream describing the plant if you’re interested. The action is smooth, trigger pull is moderate and consistent, and it’s a bit lighter than the competition in 20 gauge. Recoil is not very noticeable with its thick recoil pad. Natural safety position right at the tip of your index finger. Breakdown and cleaning are a breeze. Suggestion: clean and lube before first firing, there wasn’t much oil on it at all, perhaps due to the surface coatings mentioned above. Cabela’s also did a great job on the sale – I ordered ship to store and picked it up three days later.

1 year ago20 gauge is light enough to carry easily but not so light it makes recoil a problem. Smooth action and Mossy Oak Bottomland looks good and helps on turkey hunts. An ideal field gun.

1 year agoThis is a robust well made pump shotgun. At 6.5 pounds it’s heavier than some but this is very rugged. Its quality speaks for itself. For example just hold the barrel in your hand and look at the build quality of the breach or the rib and contrast it against other brand. I don’t like the feel of the ribbed grip or for end but they work great when it’s cold and wet and your wearing gloves.

1 year agoReally like the way this shotgun swings and fits me. Can’t wait for duck hunting and upland hunting with this one!!

1 year agoWent to the range to shoot skeet and trap with my new Nova today and it was impressive. It is very easy to load and chamber rounds and the hi-vis sight is great making it easy to line up on the target. The 26in is a little longer than the Winchester 1200 it replaces, but the weight and balance was excellent and the grips are comfortable. My wife also was able to shoot a few clays and liked it much better than the 12 gauge with the soft recoil pad.

1 year agoReally nice gun. I got it for my young son, but plan on getting plenty of use out of it until he is old enough for it.
