Federal 175 gr Terminal Ascent .30-06 Spfld Ammo, 20/pack – P3006TA1

I had high hopes for this, and normally have had very good results with other Federal products., but there seemed to be an extreme lack of consistency in these rounds. I originally was sighting in these rounds on my own. I was not getting good groups, and at least one round per group of 5 felt like it had significant more recoil than the ones before it. I chalked it up to not having a good hold. A few weeks later I went out with some friends, the first few felt fine, then about shot three there

This stuff shoots lights out. Average velocity of 10 shots from my Tikka t3x was 2704 FPS at 10 feet. 2- 5 shot groups from sandbags at 100 yards are inside of 1/2 of an inch. All holes were touching. Covered wit a nickel. I didn’t write down the extreme spread but I want to say it was an incredible 16-18 fps.

These things rock out of my Bergara B-14. Most accurate factory ammo I've found for it. They seem to be a little rare in terms of availability so if they work for you buy a few boxes at a time.
