1 year agoProduct fed well in my S&W model 1911 .45ACP. Fed reliably with no jams or failures to feed even in rapid fire. Bullets performed well when fired into moist sand and expanded reliably with little variation in mushrooming. However, they did not appear to mushroom any more or less than other hollow point type ammo. Poweder burned clean with little carbon build up. Seems well suited as a defensive ammo.

1 year agoI have this ammo for several different rounds. I keep it in all of my carry pistols. I trust with ammo with my life.

1 year agoSure, there may be some more powerful rounds out there, but for reliable, consistent and serious protection, these are the world standard. Nothing beats them at this price.

1 year agoAll of the rounds fired cleanly no jamming. Left minimal residue in the gun easy clean up after firing.

1 year agoI loved shooting with this ammunition. It really did reduce the recoil. Very Impressive! The only downside is the price for 20 rounds. I still bought several boxes because I liked it so much.

1 year agoHad a chance to try these out in my Colt Cobra snub nose .38 special. Contrary to what the information says, they still have a lot of kick and muzzle blast - actually I think its about the same as a regular round, but I like the idea of a jacketed hollow point so I will carry these. Somewhat expensive, but remember these are not target rounds.

1 year agoI've only shot one box of these, the rest I keep for CCW and home defense. These shoot well. I'm very confident if I need them I will not be let down. On initial inspection every round looked high quality and I couldn't see any issues. The box of 20 I did shoot performed flawlessly. No jams, misfires or stovepipes. Highly Recommend!

1 year agoI shot a deer with these. 2 shots with 180gr 40 and one with 147gr 9mm. 147gr hst entered the deers shoulder blade, went through one rib and was stopped just on the inside of the rib cage. There was about a total of 4in penetration. The bullet was unrecognizable, all the lead was gone except for the lead below the canalure. One of the 180gr .40 bullets entered high in the shoulder, the bullet went through the back strap. The bullet was under the hide on the opposite side. Since the shot was so high it didn’t have a lot of body to go through, there was maybe 10 inches of penetration and the bullet looked almost like it was shot through ballistics gel. The second shot with the 180gr hst was just below the head in the neck. The bullet hit the spine with this shot and didn’t not pass through. This bullet got about 4 inches of penetration and was mangled like the 147gr 9mm round and was also missing the lead except for below the canalure.

1 year agoI bought a box of the 130gn .357's to try in my Ruger 3" SP101. They had twice the recoil of an average 158gn soft point."

1 year agoI bought this ammunition for my wife to use with her S&W .380 EZ, she loves it because of the low recoil as she has arthritis in her thumb so it does not impact so much on her wrist and Thumb, great ammunition
