Patented friction reducing cam is the next generation design in fire control systems with an optimized cam that results in a smooth, non-stacking trigger pull. Monolithic frame which supports cylinder and barrel, is made from aerospace grade, 7000 series aluminum in 22 LR, 22 WMRF and 38 Special LCR models. The powerful LCR-357 model is made from blackened 400 series stainless steel. High-Strength stainless steel cylinder is extensively fluted (reducing weight) and features an Ionbond Diamondblack™ finish for excellent durability. Grip Peg allows a variety of grip styles to be installed, leaving ample room for recoil cushioning. Standard model has a Hogue® Tamer™ grip, which is highly effective at reducing felt recoil – LCR also available with Crimson Trace® Lasergrips®. LCRx™ model features an external hammer that allows it to be fired in single-action mode. Crimson Trace® models allow for fast and positive target acquisition, and offer the advantage of a laser sighting system in a more compact grip. 2 years agoI had my doubts concerning the grip but after holding and firing the Ruger LCR. I was wrong, the stock Hogue grip is Excellent. It works. I found it to be a perfect fit in my hands the pinky finger doesn't seat on the grip but that design is actually very ergonomically correct.

2 years agoSomething tells me a mistake was made in posting of the weight of this revolver. 11 pounds seems a bit heavy...

1 year agoI love this gun! I was worried about the pull being too stiff and heavy according to some reviews, but it is not as heavy a pull as my S&W .38 Special and has NO kick whatsoever. The pull is very smooth and I can shoot one-handed easily. Also, because it is so compact, I can reach the trigger better and all the way to my first knuckle so ...Read More Read more about review stating Female Review

1 year agoWhen I received this used revolver I didn't know what to expect. I opened the box and to my surprise it actually looked brand new. I am very happy and thank everyone at GUNS. COM. a company that cares about their its customers.

1 year agoMy wife owns a .38 Walther PPK/S, and I've got a 9mm Walther PDP. We love to go to our local range and pop a new rounds. 9mm and .38 ammo gets to be a little expensive. So, we opten for a couple of .22LR Ruger LCR revolver, which are great for target practice at 25 yards, and a LOT cheaper!

1 year agoBeen through many carry guns. I must be recoil sensitive (67) this IS your choice !!! The only gun that’s good is the one that’s on you- I will carry this everywhere. Danny

1 year agoI am not an experienced shooter, but even I can appreciate the smoothness of this gun's trigger. And the gunsmith who took delivery for me remarked on how good the trigger was. As a lightweight pocket gun, this is going to beat you up a bit on the range - but we can't have it both ways and I was shopping for a pocket gun and not ...Read More Read more about review stating Good trigger

1 year agoI like everything about this little gun: size, sights, shooting, smoothness, revolver, double-action. It’s perfect for my needs which is mostly just reassuring when mountain biking or hiking with my dog.

1 year agoJust tried my Ruger LCR yesterday at the gun range and I love it! it's perfect for a female for concealed carry. Not too much of a kick to it and that's what's perfect about it. I recommend this gun for most women who want to conceal carry.

1 year agoIf your in the market for a lightweight good handling revolver, look no farther. It’s a great go to gun and I admit having them in various calibers. The 22 is great for practice and if you opt for the 327 Federal or 357 mag you will have a variety of ammo to choose from. The 327 Federal is no joke and has less recoil than the 357. If you decide to...Read More Read more about review stating Ruger LCR

1 year agoPicture shows LCRX model and the description says action revolver not double action. Customer service would not help.

1 year agoDisclaimer: This is the first revolver I've owned. I really like this little .38 LCR. It feels good in the hand, is lightweight, and 'points' so easily. Recoil - there is some - isn't a problem, and I scarcely notice the muzzle / cylinder flash. Just a 'super easy' gun, all around. Oh, and it shoots well, too. :)

1 year agoI recently switched to 9mm. I wanted a revolver in 9mm and was familiar with the LCR 357 So thats why I bought the lcr 9

1 year agoBetter than the LCRs in .357 Magnum I had several years ago. They shot pretty far off point of aim. This one in .327 Federal Magnum shoots within an inch of point of aim at 7 yards. The smooth, continuous radius between backstrap and top strap allows me to draw from my cargo pants front pocket (no holster) faster and smoother than I could ever dra...Read More Read more about review stating I'd Like It More If Ammo Was Available So I Could Shoot It.

1 year agoFine snubnose. Great grip. Accurate given its short barrel. Only issue is that you have to make sure the trigger fully resets before attempting your next shot, which they do warn you about in the manual. That is a training issue.

1 year agoFine choice. Accurate and easy to handle. Will be my go-to and carry gun. Eight shots gives me margin for error under stress. Simple and safe, plus easy to maintain. I highly recommend Guns.com for professional service and follow through. Thanks, Matt P

1 year agoBought the LCR in .22 LR for my wife (recoil sensitive) Haven’t been to the range yet. Have owned Rugers in the past. Have no worries. Will let you know how it goes. Combined purchase with Speed Beez loader and loader case. Revision speed loaders for carry. Best—-Tom

1 year agoThe LCR has an excellent trigger. The LCR .327 FED Magnum loaded with SWL 100gr wadcutters has very low recoil and has 15" penetration in ballistics gel with 4 layers of denim (Lucky Gunner Labs). The .32 HR Magnum has significantly less recoil than a .38 Spl defense load and meets or exceeds penetration performance.

1 year agoNice gun. Very light but due to light weight Has quite a recoil. My lady friend liked the weight but her hand was sore after firing 5 rounds and she's not the dainty type. I like it though
