Taurus 856 .38 Special +P 3in Stainless Steel 6rd

My first revolver, I have taken it to the range two times and shot a total of 100 rounds so far. I enjoy it and happy that i purchased it.

Gun is easy on the eyes and shoots well. I’ve only put 100 rounds thru it, and have had no issues. Small enough for concealed carry and powerful enough to rely on. I love revolvers and this is definitely one I plan to keep!

Perfect weapon for carry & conceal. Easy to handle and has plenty of stopping power with the correct ammo. I actually prefer this gun over my glock.

I order it online and few days later it was at cabelas. I have not picked it up but it shipped out fast.

Maybe, I got one with an extremely gritty and hard to pull trigger, which will affect your accuracy. Overall, the metal in this pistol makes it safe to use plus P loads, I like that...

A fine revolver. Very ergonomic grip, fits my hand perfectly. Solid construction and balance. It will require cleaning often to maintain it's luster. But, overall an excellent product.

The Taurus 856 Defender is almost exactly what I want in a small frame revolver, I like a four inch barrel. It’s handy light and accurate. There’s several options available, I could not find one in stainless so the matte black finish will do. I might buy a set of wood grips later on along with a nice holster. The purchase process was easy enough, although there is no way to get a Veterans discount. Paperwork at the store is always smooth and three people are involved making sure it’s all correct. All in all I am well satisfied.

I have wanted a revolver for awhile because I shoot my friends Ruger 38 special revolver sometimes at the gun range for target practice & so wanted to get a revolver & this Taurus fit what I wanted it is a 3 in. Barrel , 38 special & has a night sight. but I put about 50 rounds so far through it at the gun range & it isn’t the most accurate gun but maybe I’m just not used to it so will practice with it more. I usually shoot semiautomatic guns so this is my first revolver.

Good compact .38 revolver. Love that it has 6 shots not 5 like many similarly sized guns. Comes with 2 grips to choose from.

My Taurus 856 contender met my expectations. The revolver operated flawlessly. I thought it was quite accurate when shooting it at the range. I personally don’t shoot as much as I have in the past, and considering All shots were from 15yards and they were in a 4” circle. I now have 3 Taurus revolvers and haven’t had any issues.

Good shooter. Reliable .Great value. why would you spend double the price for an EDC when this works fine.
