Ncwingshooter
2 years ago1 out of every 5 shells misfire, looks like a sparkler coming out the barrel of the gun. I have used this product for years, but I don't intend to ever purchase again!
DesertDraht
1 year agoGreat Pheasant Load. I use the 1 1/4 oz 3 3/4 dram eq load. The shot is hard and patterns very consistently. Only thing that would be better is if they had a 1 1/4 oz 3 1/4 dram loads, then less recoil and great patterns.

1 year agoI think that the special pattern on the shot gives me increased range. I really like these shells for pheasant hunting.

1 year agoI shot a Benelli and did not have one mid-fire. Shells are fast and hard hitting. Only shot # 6 for pheasants
Roosterbuster22
1 year agoThese shells are Awesome! have used them the last two years on tough, fast flying wild South Dakota roosters. These 1 !/2 oz #4's are lighting fast and hard hitting. Many one shot kills at extended ranges. I won't use anything else !
moosewhacker
1 year agohave used these and they seem to be fast and have not lost a bird when shooting these shells. I suspect if we could take a census we would find out the pheasants don't like these shells

1 year agoI have used these shells for years, I started with the 1.5 ounce shell but have dropped down to the 1.25 ounce shells for most of my upland shooting. I do like the 1.5 shells and will still shoot them on wild pheasants, but the 1.25 have less kick and have worked very well for me. Great shells and priced very well.
Jj400
1 year agoUsed as my second shot in over and under shotgun but has the power you need to make the kill at 50 plus yards
Chukar2
1 year agoBought a case last year for Nevada chukar and couldn't be more pleased. I went down this season from the 1420 to the 1330 as the 1420 was too much for chukar for most of the season. Less cripples on farther shots. I shoot a beretta a300 and a winchester sx3, both guns cycle flawlessly with these shells.

1 year agoI’ve been hunting South Dakota pheasants for 30 years and these shells are what I always look for. The best overall shell for wild birds.

1 year agoUsed Kent Ultimate Fast Lead on pheasants and chukars at game farm. Killed them as good as the high priced stuff.
goosehunter1111
1 year agoI used these pheasant hunting last week in North Dakota. I shoot a 12 gauge benelli super Vinci which doesn’t like to cycle 2 3/4 shells so I used the 3” 5 shot. For the price, these are the best shells I’ve used on pheasants so far. Shot and killed pheasants from out to approximately 50 yards. No wounded, running pheasants lost in cattails yet.

1 year agotried turkey loads along with long beard.federals and remington and none of them shot a better group than kents. used mossberg 835 and a 935.so then bought some of kent fast lead for squirrel and bird hunting in my 870.I am using nothing but kent now

1 year agoI have shot pheasants all my life and have relied on good quality “high brass” loads. The pattering speed and pure knock down power of Kent shells is the top of the line. The perfect medicine for fast and high flying birds.

1 year agoKent Ultimate Fast Lead shotgun shells have worked well in my 12 gauge. No complaints so far. I'll update if needed.
Pheasant Peasant
1 year agoGreat performance at a fair price. I like these US shells better than Golden Pheasant and they cost less too.

1 year agoI own a Benelli Super Vinci and it has been a past this past 5 years throwing Fiocchi Golden Pheasant through it. With the recent ammo shortage, those haven’t been on the shelves. I happened to come across this very stacked spec wise shell and have shot Kent shells in the past in other guns and loved them. I burned through my last Fiocchis this year and started the Kents. They would NOT cycle a second successfully. What I came across is that the end of the shell is not crowned in instead it is straight. Benelli makes their barrels with zero room for play as far as error and this was catching it and peeling it. If you have a Benelli semi I don’t recommend this shell unless you want a single shot.

1 year agoGreat product. The shipping was crap. I ordered 10 boxes in two different orders, because Bass Pro would only let me order 5 at a time instead of a full case quantity. Both orders showed up within days of each other, and all the shells were completely lose and the factory shell boxes were destroyed. Think about how you package ammunition and how they will be handled by the shipping services.

1 year agoGreat stuff, however when I grabbed box out of drlivery box, the shells went everywhere. Kent needs to do better in this aspect for a higher rating. I have 20 year old boxes of shells that hold up waaay better, just saying Kent, step it up please.

1 year agoNever had an issue with a single one. Very good for everything I've tried them on from rabbits to crows
