Kimber Custom LW (Nightstar)

The Nightstar is very hard to rack. I have several 1911 including SA, Taurus, etc., this Kimber is the hardest rack the slide. And also the main spring housing is made of plastic/polymer materials although the other small parts looks stainless which make the gun looks nice.

I could not be happier with my Kimber Custom LW Nightstar. Excellent fit and finish, completely reliable, and more accurate than I am. The fiber optic front sight is bright and fast, and it comes with additional red and green rods. My Kimber also came with a bushing wrench, something I did not expect. I will also add that purchasing from Eurooptic.com was a pleasure, very smooth and easy process. Will definitely be looking here first if I have any additional gun related needs.

Nice looking Kimber. Shoots well, with no problems. I replaced the plastic mainspring housing with a stainless steel housing. Now it's perfect!

first the bad: the grip bushings were not installed properly in fact very poorly and it took me nearly 90 minutes to carefully remove them clean the frame correctly tap the frame for the bushings. the good: Nice Looking, the fit and finish is very good. It is accurate no problems firing in first 200 rounds, functions correctly and is very enjoyable to shoot. I like this firearm.

This is a really nice piece. I was a little worried about Kimber quality but this thing doesn't miss a beat. Would be nice if Kimber supplied to mags with it.

This is the first Kimber I've ever purchased. After a few months of ownership and about 600 rounds through it, I'm VERY happy with it. I've only ever had one FTF in all the rounds I've put through it. As far as accuracy goes, I'm new to pistols and shooting, but at 7 yards, I'm putting about 80% in center mass. I can't imagine how accurate it would be with an actual experienced shooter. I was so happy with this, I went right back to Sportsman's Warehouse and bought a Kimber Micro 9.
