HENRY HOMESTEADER

From the Henry web site for this rifle: For maximum reliability, Henry recommends the use of double-stack 3rd, 4th, or 5th Gen OEM Glock G17 or G19 magazines, OEM SIG P320 magazines, and OEM M&P double-stack magazines with their respective magazine well adapters. (Couldn't figure out how to add an answer.)

Easy order process. The staff at my Sportsman's Warehouse was outstanding and the firearm itself looks and feels great.

My homesteader ran flawlessly! The wood and metal are finished very well and overall the carbine is immaculate. The sights needed a bit of adjustment, but that was easy to do. I had no malfunctions during my first trip to the range. This is a handy little rifle and will fill lots of uses all while looking great.

Awesome plinker that doesn't completely break your bank! I took this to the range with it the first time, only one misfire which is understandable since it's still new. Run through over 200 rounds didn't find any problems at all. Very satisfied with products from Henry

Great gun, great caliber for a carbine. No kick and little sound but a great cartridge (9mm) for all around plinking or small game. Have not had one jam and have put through about 500 rounds. I highly recommend for fun and sport!

Henry hit a home run with this one, with the glock magazine and the treaded muzzle end, also being tapped to add on a scope.

I am really enjoying shooting this gun at the range. I love the ergonomics of the homesteader. However the magazines don’t appear to match the quality of the gun. They almost look like toy magazines - not easy to load and reload without a reloader.

Pick yours up before they are gone! I own a few Henry’s and this addition is amazing. I have the classic lever action octagon barrel which is my favorite, now she has competition! I hope they produce the Homsteader in .357 as well!

Shoots great. Very accurate right out of the box. Love the sights. Little trouble with the mags provided. They are hard to load and to small files my speedloader. Ordered the Glock conversion kit. That might solve the problem. All in all, Love it.

If you are a fan of Henrys and want a semi auto that uses a variety of mags that you may already have this is a great rifle for you. Nicely built and good looking just like all Henrys but fun with larger capacity mags. Hope you can find one!

Had a lot of misfeeds and FTE’s. Switched magwells and had the same issue. If you pull the bolt back slightly when inserting the magwell it seemed to correct the problem. Ran about 75 rounds now with no issues. Not sure if I can actually rely on it yet.

Of all the newer 9mm carbines the homesteader is the best, shoots and cycles good. The Henry magazines, one five round and one ten round are hard to load even with a speed loader. Henry should include the scope mounting plate and the two other mag well adapters, you have to buy separately on the Henry web site.

the 9mm homesteader is a great carbine. I'm still working on a few things, optics and mounts. Accuracy testing will be done over the next few weeks.
