The new GLOCK 42, in .380acp, is a slimline subcompact pistol engineered with the GLOCK Perfection promise and able to withstand the rigors of routine training. Made in the USA, the G42 is the smallest pistol GLOCK has ever introduced, making it ideal for pocket carry and shooters with smaller hands. Years of requests across market groups for a super-concealable, reliable single-stack .380 GLOCK pistol prompted extensive research and development to bring the GLOCK customer the G42.

For a daily carry, the G42 has been the thinnest, lightest, & easiest to conceal... even in shorts. As for performance, it was a little picky on ammo in the way of the occasional feed issues. no FTF's and after some personal upgrades including a 4lb trigger and extended slide release/mag release/pins/take down lever/etc (acts more like the 26 ...Read More Read more about review stating Invisibly Concealed

I love my glock! I have not used it yet but so far I like the way it looks, its size, and it’s weight: Not big nor heavy and it looks very nice even though I should not say it’s nice since it’s not a toy but I can’t help it. In general it gives me a comfortable feeling when holding it in my hand, not heavy and pressure.

I am a retired Deputy from my local Sheriff's Office and this pistol perfectly adds to my collection for home defense and concealed carry. I was pleased with the price and look forward to a visit to the gun range to see how well it performs. I now own a Glock 22 (.40), Glock 30 (.45), and now the Glock 42 (.380). If the Glock 42 is anything li...Read More Read more about review stating Glock enthusiast.

This, like all Glocks, is rugged and dependable. I sold a Ruger of the same caliber due to inconsistent performance of occasional jamming and failure to remain open when last shot fired. Nothing like a Glock. I think it is the best handgun in the world.

Good grip, nice weight, recoil is not bad, but it likes to jam if it doesn’t like the bullet grain or your grip is too light. After shooting over 30 rounds of full metal jacket brass without issue, it jammed every shot for two full mags (12 bullets total) with one brand of hollow-points and every couple of shots with another brand of hollow-point ...Read More Read more about review stating Fun but finicky

I own several Glocks. The 26, 21 and now the 42 for my wife. Like all Glocks, I recommend upgrading the recoil spring from the stock plastic to the Tungsten steel version. The 42 is perfect for small handed individuals who are looking for an easily concealable pistol.

Awesome little pocket carry. Glock fan boy here. So nice I bought it twice one for me and one for mom. Small frame guarantees little to no printing when carrying.

The size of the Glock 42 is perfect for carrying. It fits perfectly in my pocket and is slim enough to be barely noticeable in loos fitting pants or shorts. Highly recommended!

purchased the glock 42 on January 10 2016 for my wife to conceal carry. At the range could not complete 6 rounds with out FTE or FTF. Sent to factory after 100 rounds. Got the pistol back with no explanation of what they did. Called the factory they could not tell me what was wrong. At the range the problem has improved slightly. The gun feels great in the hand but is not reliable enough to allow my wife to use this as a CW. Will research alternatives

Bought this glock 42 for my wife's first carry gun she immediately took to it had no problems holding it loading it shooting it. Tried several different defense ammo as well as plain Jane FMJs with zero issues.Gun is very accurate and easy to control.Congratulations Glock another home run!

Ii am a certificated trainer use two Glock 42's ...the only problems ever encountered were from those that "thought " they knew what they were doing...and didn't..typical idiots who were always to cheap to pay for professional training. Every person that had a problem with a 42 or other small auto was limp wristing or touching the slide without realizing it...by watching and filming we proved it to them! You aren't as good as you think...some of us are, Get trained by a pro.

Nice smaller size for my small hand. A little stiff at first, especially loading ammo into the magazine, but I realize it needs to be broken in. Easy to shoot (this is my first gun purchase). There are several very good U Tube videos on-line that show how to clean the Glock 42, which is recommended before first use.

Haven’t had an opportunity to shoot it yet. The shipping and ease of purchase from PSA was one of the best experiences buying a firearm. That’s the reason for the high rating. Glocks are always legit but PSA really made the experience great.

Love the Glock 42, is everything you would expect from Glock. By far one of the easiest to conceal , accurate, functions and feels like any other Glock. Very happy with my purchase and always a pleasure to deal with PSA.

Great personal defense pistol for both concealed carry and nightstand. Very accurate and minimal recoil.

Failures to eject and cycle for the first 18 rounds, then stove piping on election the next six. Factory ball fmj. Not impressed, especially since it was bought for protection for spouse. All other Glocks I own work flawless from the start, without break-in. I see a lot of complains about the same issues online. Feels like it's a dog with fleas.

Great gun. I use it as a pocket carry.. I have big hands and the gun feels great. I would definitely consider a mag extension for your pinky finger.

I bought this to have as a pocket pistol when I'm running a quick errand and I'm not going to strap on my EDC. However, I found it to be very finicky and cheaply built (as compared to guns I own from Springfield, SIG, etc). I spent a lot on aftermarket stuff to improve its shortcomings but the reality is that Glock produces a lower end pistols and my 42 had very marginal reliability. Glock relies heavily on namesake and aftermarket for all their hype and I just didn't love this gun. Switched to a Kimber 380 and have never looked back.

Great gun. Palmetto State Armory is the best company to deal with. I received the gun very quickly and the website is very easy to order.
