1 year agoNormally I buy black/black but the SS slide imprints much less under a white T-shirt. (Also will not scratch or like the thin black finish on the G3C black slide). I replaced my Glock 19 and my 43X with this as my carry pistol as it is smaller and safer (has almost a double-action longer first pull) as well as a thumb safety (which I usually switch off when in vulnerable situations anyway) but nice to have when transporting, jogging, etc. so now I always carry with round in the chamber now (sometimes I wouldn't with my Glock). It also carries easily in a belly band with it's shorter barrel (The G19 would always catch the front sight w/ belly band holsters). Also has less felt recoil than the G19 (due to heavier slide), and better grip & control than my G43X. Also you can buy a 15rd mag which gives you the same exact grip as buying a G3 pistol (it;s like both getting a G3, and a G3C) and all share this exact same frame (the slides determine the length for a G3, G3X, G3XL as the slides assemblies are longer). Which is a brilliant design over the Glock. I also noticed tighter tolerances with this over my Glock. If you like to modify your pistols then get a Glock, but if you just want to change the sights (this takes Glock sights) then this is pistol you want!

1 year agoI own 6 Glocks (and others) but I shoot better with this G3C, the size is between G19 and 43X (and almost half the cost). Unlike Glock this has double-strike capability (great for laser dry-firing drills) and a 'manual safety' which is usually something I usually don't want or use but I wanted it so I can carry safely (and I can leave it off optionally) - So I'll carry this one, and use my Glocks for the range and competition (cause I can easily customize my Glocks and that's not needed for this one). I added a micro rail-mounted green laser/light combo - now it's a perfect carry or for home defense!

1 year agoBought this in January after reading every "PRO" review as well as watching endless number of YouTube videos. I have not been disappointed. This is my first 9MM compact, I have always been a revolver fan, the low price point said, give it a chance. For comparison, I did shoot my buddies Sig and a S&W rental at the range prior to buying this. Out of the box I disassembled it for a cleaning and lube, not that didn't trust it being ready to go, I'm just that type of person. Cleaned, oiled the slides and spent couple days just working the slide and pulling the trigger to get it broken in a little. So far I've shot Federal American Eagle 115, 124, 147 FMJ; Winchester 115FMJ (White Box 200 rounds pack) ; Blazer Brass 124FMJ and handful of Federal Punch 124 JHP just to make sure they would feed. All have cycled with not one failure. Overall, very pleased. Grip on the G3C is a little larger, not as large as full size but large enough that I can get my larger hands around it without it feeling like I don't have a good grip on it. Accuracy at 7-10 yards is great and very acceptable out to 25 yards (or at least as acceptable as my 65 year old eyes are going to produce LOL). Only issue I initially had was releasing the slide catch with an unloaded mag installed. You can do it, but it is tight. Unloaded, I just drop the mag (don't even need to completely remove it) and it's easy to do. Disassembly for cleaning is also very easy. I give this gun 5 Stars.

1 year agoThe taurus g3c is an excellent Everyday carry 9mm. Extra “grippy” stipPling on the handle and great “memory” points on the frame for trigger finger rest positions. Reliable and enjoyable to shoot, and large enough for someone with large hands to not feel too cramped with a smaller pistol. Full sized G3 17 round mags are compatible with mag sleeVes available at lakeline llc. I own a gun store, and this is one of my favorite edc choices. You don’t need to spend $600 to find a flexible compact … Read More

1 year agoAs always i was very pleased wiTh my purchase from grab a gun. Shipping was fast. The pistol was exactly what i expected. Quality was Very good and action very smooth. The only negative i had was the pistol sights were too small for my aging eyEs. I Immediately ordered XS big dot sights for replacement of the sights as an Fix for the problem. I have not yet taken it For range time, but if it shoots like my other taUrus pistols i am looking for a positive experience. If you are looking for a good carry pistol i highly recommend this pistol.

1 year agoI bought this I wanted over ten rounds to carry and a manual safety. Not many choices out there with a manual safety in this price range.

1 year agoGreat compact. I got this for my wife since she has small hands, it fit her comfortably and the 80 grit sandpaper like texture gave her a secure grip. The felt recoil was less than my glock 19. Taurus has really stepped up the quality with this firearm and I Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. This would be a great choice for a first time shooter.

1 year agoI don’t cut corners, that being said , I put this weapon through its paces. Knowing Taurus’ past history, I didn’t expect much. But much to my delight I cannot find anything amiss. First 700 rounds found to be quite accurate and consistent. A weapon of this size and capacity along with its reasonable cost probably won’t be matched. I am now a proud owner of 2 G3’s.

1 year agoI have a full size G3 that I love, and a G2C that has always functioned flawlessly, so I couldn't pass up the G3C. It's a great little pistol. As usual with Taurus, the ergonomics are excellent. It feels great in the hand, and has worked without a single hiccup. I think it looks pretty nice, as well. My only complaint is that the stock sights are a little underwhelming, for me. I replaced my sights with a set of TruGlo Glock 17 sights, and I like those much more. It

1 year agoI own Taurus G3C for about a year. Shot around thousand rounds through it. Not a single misfire. Performs flawlessly, using different brands of ammo. I like the smaller size, perfect for concealed carry. Very happy that I purchased this gun, works as well as other, much more expensive firearms I own.
