Springfield XD Defenders Series 9mm 4" Pistol, Black – XDD9101HC

The Springfield XD 4" was my first of 4 XDs. It is as accurate as my 5.25 XDM and may even shoot better. The XD full size 4" is a great dependable gun that is impossible to beat on price and value.

Feels good in your hand. It's a natural pointer and the mags are cheep. This is one of 3 xd pistols I've owned and love them all. If Glocks don't feel good in your hand like me I'm sure the xd line of pistols will

I have no issue with the gun, I like the gun. Don’t buy from Palmetto, your gun may arrive without a magazine like mine did. There are no legal restrictions in my state/county/city on magazine capacity, but this company has chosen not to send magazines over 10 rounds here. I was given no warning by Palmetto before my purchase either, had I known, I would have gone elsewhere. Never again will I make another purchase from Palmetto. Enjoy the $20 you make by selling MY magazine to someone else, it will be the last dollar you earn from me.

I bought an XD 40 when they first came out. The way it felt in my hand and its looks is what sold me. After shooting it, I knew it was the right choice! Very accurate!

Just received this and it got here way before I expected. Kudos PSA! It's shiny and new and I can't wait to shoot it. I own the big brother (.45) also and I love it. I think the XDs don't get the respect they deserve. Of course, since I haven't fired this I can't comment on the real important aspects yet. But as soon as I do I'll update this and let ya'll know.

Excellent workmanship with that extra attention to little details but trigger pull has more creep than l would like which affects accuracy negatively but the trigger pull weight is not overly stiff or hard.

The XD Defender Series 4” is a perfect fit for me. It’s safety features are amazing. Especially the grip safety... The only negative would be that it comes with one 16 round magazine. Love it!

Since I am left handed I love that I can release the magazine from either side. I fired 800 rounds in a 3 day class and made many magazine changes and really appreciated the dual button. The 16 round magazines were really a plus.

I was wv state police qualified by WV DNR conservation officer's academy on the glock 21sf 45acp. I baught the XD bc it's essentially the same weapon just 200$ less. It performed flawlessly. 50rds of speer ammo. Same feel and dependability as glock and personally I think it looks better. The only downside is that it scratches easy especially compared to glocks indestructible finish. You can run a dime up and down the slide of the glock then wipe away the dimes dust leaving no scratches. I

This is a great gun . I’ve had the same one for a few years and I like it over the Glock for the ergonomics alone . It’s got great Point ability , just a great shooter.

I have had one since 2005 (with Trijicon night sights). Put thousands of rounds through it. No issues. Shoots any brand of ammo you put through it. Defines the word reliable. The ergonomics are simply fantastic. The chambered round indicator and striker status indicator features make this the safest handgun I own. The ambidextrous mag release is perfect for right or left handed shooters. I really can't say enough good things about this firearm. Once I started using it my Glock's became a distant memory.

Great gun. On con for me is the mag release. It's pretty difficult to drop mags. Love the gun,hate the mag release.

Love this pistol. Have put around 500 rounds through it with 0 problems. Easy to break down and clean. Rings 7" steel from 30 yards with no problem

This gun is excellence. And for the price… why not pick one up and try it out. Ergonomically sound, 16+1 capacity, ambidextrous mag release, and overall beautiful looking polymer pistol. It is an comfortable/amazing shooter. Only downside is only one magazine but for the price, who can really complain…. I also have big hands and it is super comfortable for me to handle and my wife loves it as well. Deadly accurate out of the box and haven’t had a problem with it eating any ammo I’ve put through it. PSA is always a pleasure to work with. Online or in person.

Good little pistol got a couple hundred rounds through it and ram flawless no jams with steel cased, so you know it will run brass no issue, if it can’t run steel it doesn’t deserve brass lmao.

Shoots great, got it for bedside HD. And not disappointed. The grip is great, it’s accurate/easy to control, not a massive amount of kick due to the size. Love it
