Springfield XD Defenders Series 9mm 3" Pistol, Black – XDD9801HC

Incredible quality for the $300 asking price. I've never held or shot a Springfield before, and I can definitely say I'm not disappointed at all in the quality. There's plenty of discussion elsewhere to make an informed decision on the quality of the pistol itself. But yes, I absolutely would recommend it. Posting a review to show how it comes shipped and what it comes with.

This gun is an excellent gun. Very reliable. The XD line of pistols are superb. They outshine the Glock plus they look better to.

This a beast of a value. You get a fully functional ,ready to use, great quality firearm without a lot of the useless items Springfield puts in their kits. You can buy Whatever you want with the savings. I love the way it shoots as well.

Works great had a small scratch on rail didn’t matter to me . Only issue I have is locking rail to rear when pistol is tilted. On side mag facing myself weird. But shoots and performs great

I have an XD9 that has over a thousand rounds through it with out a hiccup of any kind. The trigger got smoother after the 300 round mark and it fits my hand so well it's easy to shoot. My XD9 came with a plastic box and 16 round mag but it was a hundred more.

It seemed a little big for my hand at first, but once I shot it I fell in love. Very accurate shooting with one hand. I love the large capacity mag. No recoil. The button you push to release the mag is a little stiff....hoping it loosens up in time.

Great feel. Small enough for a good conceal carry, while still being comfortable to hold and shoot. Awesome quality.

Initially didn't like the mechanics. It's heavy compared to my glock26 of course. The slide and the mag release were a little stiff. Performance at the range was flawless I really enjoyed shooting this pistol. Accurate right out the box recoil was minimal I guess the added weight was a plus.

Amazing firearm never shot a compact and this one surprised me the weight is good and shoots like a champ.

Springfield has delivered with this weapon. After over 500 rounds with no misfires I'm impressed with its dependability.

I am very pleased with the item but I was not exactly pleased with the actual purchase. The description told of more accessories included but I did not get that. When I received my order without those items and then went back and checked they had changed the description. Many of the original things it listed were part of the reason I bought it. In the end I'm still happy I have the gun as they are really hard to find right now. This is a great gun and I love it even more after I got the extended magazine.

I own 3 springfields!! I love each and everyone XD XDM and XDS. No issues what so ever. I carried them all and will definitely depend my life on it!!

CRAZY confusing marketing. I see promos and youtubes about the defender series with extras and lower price. ??? I see reviews below (some say same, others say they didn't get what was said to be included). I didn't get extra's either. I got 1 13 round mag and that's it. No brush, no oil, and I didn't pay 300 or 359, I paid 399. ??? MOST confusing, I wanted small and light and the specs call this a sub-compact, but the box says "compact". I can't find any reviews/info on compact

This is my fourth Springfield and I love them all. It’s a lil heavy, but I have big hands and it fits my hand perfect. Was thinking about the Hellcat, but the Defender was have the price, and I purchased two additional 16 round magazines to go with it making it better than the Hellcat I say. And it’s on point at the range.

JUST GOT MY 16 ROUND MAG FOR MY XD DEFENDER, WHAT AN AWSOME PISTOL. EASY TO HANDLE AND 16 ROUNDS MAKES IT A MUST HAVE FOR HOME DEFENCE AND EVERYDAY PLINKING.....GOOD THING I HAVE PLENTY OF AMMO, BUT I COULD USE MORE........

OMG The ultimate carry, extremely accurate, will eat it all, alum, steel, brass , easily breaks down and back together, this one goes in my front pocket of my cargo pants, nobody has ever seen it there and it whips right out . Carry liberty Ammo in it, it makes it extremely lethal

I absolutely love this handgun. Perfect for EDC. This replaced my G43, it is much more stout and the capacity is crazy. CTD has 30+ round mags with the grip ext on them. Accurate, concealable and range day ready. I'm buying another for the ol lady.

I’m very excited about my first Springfield ever, I’ve been around guys who swear by Glock, Glock is fine but my Springfield XD 9mm 3” is very similar to the Glock 26 size. But man my Springfield feels like a real beast, and it’s a Springfield what more can I say!!
