The Springfield XD-M Elite Compact in .45 ACP is great for packing a lot of punch in such a condensed package. Purchasing the gun will get the gun, two 10-round magazines, a gun bag, and multiple grip attachments. I took advantage of the OSP by adding Springfield's own Hex Dragon fly red dot & an Olight Baldr S light/laser combo. Great trigger. I have short fingers and this fits my hand better than the Glock 30. My finger does not drag on the bottom of the trigger guard. Recoil milder than expected.

Got this on deal and for the price it is excellent! The upgraded sights are a nice touch, like the passive safety, just gives me that extra sense of security that I am not going to blow my junk off when carrying appendix. Allows for carrying 45 ACP in a lighter platform than a 1911 with more capacity. Those with bigger hands might not like the factory hold on the grips but luckily you can customize it.

Have not shot the gun yet #springfieldarmory included the wrong mounting bracket for the Hex optic and still waiting. Gun looks really nice just waiting to mount the red dot and shoot it. Springfield told me they would send me the bracket as soon as they get them in. I have been waiting for three weeks…

I got this to upgrade from a M&P Shield (the base model) because it is 7+1 or 8+1. It is really nice to have 14+1 in an EDC. The sights are really well made and easy to shoot from. Absolutely fantastic addition. Feels great in my hand and smooth trigger pull. The sights take a little to get use to. But once you do it’s smooth sailing. I went with the extended mags and it feels better (I have large hands).

I have Walthers, Glocks, Rugers, and Springfields, all shoot good. But the Springfield just seems to have that edge the others don't. My shot groups are tight, and the break down and reassembly beats the others hands down
