It boasts a low-sitting hammer and wider-style sights that allow for faster sight acquisition. It also features a blue finish with a case-hardened frame, and a thin, richly detailed, checkered grip for comfort and improved aim. All of the previous features are available on both the standard and Taylor Tuned version of The Smoke Wagon. Taylor Tuned actions are performed by our own in-house gunsmiths and feature – hand polishing, exact timing, and lighter hammer/trigger pull with our custom springs. The Taylor Tuned Smoke Wagon features one of the smoothest hammer and trigger pulls on the market.

1 year agoTHe fit and finish is very good, action feels positive and precision done, trigger is smooth. Case hardening is a work of art. the only let down on this gun is the 3 clicks with the floating firing pin. If you are going to do the best colt replica in the world and put so much attention to detail everywhere else, why ruin it with this odd safety feature.

1 year agoGreat REvolver. Fit and finish is very good. It doesn't have the classic 4 clicks but that's the only knock against it.

1 year agoBought my 1873 .45 long colt a few months ago via Guns.com and it is superbly accurate. Fits my hand perfectly and is even easier to shoot than my 7.5 inch EMF Hartford .45 long colt. Very pleased!
