Winchester Ammunition Partition Gold 2.75" 12 Gauge Ammo, 5/box – SSP12

I bought 3 boxes of these shells because I thought these partition gold 12 gauge shells were the best. Until Saturday afternoon a nice buck appeared in my scope, I pulled the trigger and click was all I got. The buck eyeballed me as I attempted to pump another round real gentle like but had walked off before I finished. Primer was indented but never fired. I am curiuos how often this happens? Last year had to settle on the cheaper Winchester super X slugs which did kill a buck opening morning in Michigan.

Best 12 ga. Saboted slug I have every used. My only complaint is that they don’t expand as advertised, trust me I’ve used these slugs for over 20 years now on whitetails. This being said I give it 4 stars - 5++ if they truly expanded, they do have tremendous knock down power however.

I've been shooting Whitetail Deer in Illinois with Winchester Partition Gold deer slugs for 20 years and won't change anytime soon. My Super X3 shoots 1" groups @ 100 yards consistantly with this amazing slug and talk abou knockdown power..."Stone cold killer" It does a great job on Florida hogs too!

This is my 18th season of sticking with Partition Gold. I use a Remington 870 with Cantilevered barrel. Dead on at 150. Furthest shot, 225 on a big 10 pointer. I have tried several other brands, Winchester Gold Partition is by far the most consistent. I know exactly where the bullet is going to go every time I pull the trigger!

Use this ammo on whitetail for 5 years in Illinois to take 11 deer.no problems with it I’d recommend it hole heartedly. Well worth trying .
