The DDM4V11 Pro was designed for competitive shooters looking for the platform to dominate podiums in today’s popular multi-gun matches. The newest 18” Strength to Weight, Cold Hammer Forged barrel delivers the speed, controllability, and accuracy required to overcome the course designer’s most difficult stages.

  • SLiM Rail 15.0 which offers incredible weight savings as well as superior cooling, ergonomics, and modularity while maintaining the strength and durability expected from Daniel Defense.
  • An uninterrupted picatinny rail on top and KeyMod attachment at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, ensures plenty of real estate for optics and accessories and allows for maximum sight radius for accurate shooting with rail mounted iron sights.
  • The long, 15” rail gives operators the option to have the support hand extended out closer to the muzzle allowing them to drive the gun more precisely and prevents over travel when transitioning between multiple targets.
  • Larger latch provided by a Vltor Gunfighter Mod 4 Charging Handle for easier manipulation under magnified optics.
  • A newly designed Muzzle Climb Mitigator redirects propellant gasses through calibrated ports, countering both recoil and muzzle climb.
  • A Geissele Automatics Super Dynamic 3 Gun Trigger delivers rapid hits on target with its light, short pull and quick reset.
  • Softened recoil impulse of a rifle length gas system, equals shorter split times, more precise follow-up shots, and reduced fatigue.

I bought this on special and am very pleased with it. I initially ran two boxes of mixed rounds through it without any issues. The sights are small (standard GI) but a touch of bright orange nail polish on the front makes that better. The magazine (10 round) does hang down below the grip but it works fine. I bought two 9 round mags that fit better and they work fine as well. The black plastic grips are kinda funky so I bought some coco bolo double diamond ones that really makes the pistol look great. Overall its a solid piece.

This was a great SALE buy and my 1st Rock Island . A no flaws BASIC 1911A1 with a Parka finish in 9MM. Comes with 1 extended mag that hangs out of the bottom.. and cheap rubber grips. I always wanted a 9mm and have the 45acp 1911 from high end to basic. I like this basic $350 classic just as much as the others. I replaced the stainless extended mag with 4 black mil style mags AND the rubber grips with VZ G10 plain ivory. The result is a all business Stock 1911.. I field stripped and

For the price I was really impressed, it came with a plastic case and shoots super smooth. It feels better than my other 9mm pistols I have to compare it with like the 92FS. This gun was purchased mainly to display a 1911, however it shoots so smooth I might buy another or even a 2011.

Seems like a great, solid 1911. I wanted 9mm; I'm getting old and my Pre-70s Series .45 Colt ACP tiring to fire sometimes. Also I wanted to teach my grandson the 1911 with lower recoil than .45 ACP. Came useable out of the box; trigger a bit rough. It wasn't necessary, but I had a minor trigger job (smoothing mechanism) and the pistol is all I want.

This is a real 1911. It surprised me and it shoots great. Don't hesitate buying one. Sportsman"s has been great to do business with.

I didn't need it, I bought it anyway, and I'm glad I did. I'm going to start looking at the 45s here in a while. I've ran about 150 rounds through it and have had no problems. The slide is tight the, action smooth, and it's a great gun for the money.

My RIA 1911 purchase was everything I had hoped it would be. It has provided faultless performance and is fun to shoot.

Great price for a 9mm 1911. It's a heavy steel pistol so the recoil is minimal and 9mm is a lot less pricey than shooting my 45mm 1911. My son professes that he's not a pistol guy but he hit the water bottle on his 1st shot at ~15 yds so the 5" barrel must make a difference. Only about 50 rounds through it but so far everything works great. Only complaint is that it only came with one mag so I'm shopping around for additional 9mm SS 10 round mags.

I polished the sides of the slides mainly to get rid of the ria logo. I then blued them added a commander hammer and Wilson combat drop in beaver tail along with a compensator. Very happy with my purchase a very fun pistol to shoot.

Solid gun for the money… I bought it on-sale at $100 off, you just can’t beat the price. Shoots well.

Outstanding pistol at a great price. Just like my issued sidearm when I was in the Army except in 9mm. Saves a lot of money over 45 ACP. Fit and finish is very good. Accuracy is better than me. But, I get good grouping. My only gripe is the flat mainspring housing. A1's are supposed to be arched.

I was happy to get this in 9mm. I love the 45ACP original, but this is convenient in that I only have to buy 9mm to use in multiple guns. Shoots like a dream and I'm at or near the center x every time (I'm the one that needs the practice). Fun to shoot. I definitely recommend it.

Great piece; very well made and a faithful 1911 reproduction. No finish imperfections or burrs. Shoots much better than I do! Aftermarket mags i.e. Mec-gar work great, by the way. Also the team at my local Sportsmans is top notch.

used mag it came with and mecgar. ran steel, aluminum, brass. sideways, limp wrist, mag dump. not one jam. 150 rounds total. could not get it to jam. cleaned and lubed properly and let springs sit compressed for a week before. great purchase my friend wants to buy a 9 to go along with his 45 now as well.

The picture shows it with wood grips, mine came with black plastic grips. Otherwise, it's a fun range toy.

Front sight blade could be better have a Luminous dot. Magazine does not seem to fit real well. Handgrips could have some grooves in them for better grip If you’re going to make a firearm and put your name on it make it good not cheap
