Love my new Walther PDP Compact and Sportsmans Warehouse made it so easy to own one. Special thanks to the staff that was very professional and courteous. Can't wait to get out and shoot my PDP some more.

The PDP performs better than my PPQ and that is quite an accomplishment for Walther to out do themselves with a new red dot optics ready striker fire pistol platform. The red dot ready optics plate, new grip texture, slide super serrations, and the upgraded trigger to name a few improvements will eventually prove to be the go to police duty service weapon and civilian conceal carry preferred choice firearm. This is a game changer firearm for less than $700. Amazing!

Comfortable, reliable and built for optics. Trigger is light and crisp, best striker fired trigger on the market, although I prefer the metal shoe on the Sig M18. If you want the lightest cleanest trigger or you plan to run optics, there is nothing better then a PDP. The slide serrations are better then you think. Also, I thought this gun was kind of odd looking in photos but it looks great in person. The grip is extremely comfortable and the texture is fantastic!!! More comfortable then a P99.

Shoots like a dream right out of the box. Just over 500 rounds through it so far and still no malfunctions.

Very comfortable to grip and VERY accurate. Walther makes exceptional firearms. I highly recommend at least trying this awesome firearm

I have to say so far so good. I haven’t shot it a lot yet. Probably about 100 rounds of American Eagle 124gr. I thought it shot just as good as any other pistol I have in 9mm. I haven’t had time to compare it to any of the other 9mm pistols I own. Once I get an optic it may just be my gun of choice for carry. Will be my first optic pistol. I do some training and teaching I’m looking forward to trying it out and seeing if it’s faster or any better then Iron sights. As for the sights I really

Very nice upgrades. Excellent trigger, great feel in my hands, love the new grip texture, waiting for plate to install my red dot. Snaps right back in line on trigger reset double taps. Highly recommended.

I debated between the PDP and XDM Elite for months, but 100% of gun store people I queried said, "you won't regret getting the Walther." The medium grip just fits, no tape required, the sliders well even my wife can grip it! Of my first range trip I was able to get everything in the 6" ring at 25 yards with the factory sight in, I was impressed. It even feel like everything happens more positively from cycling, to inserting magazines, it just feels like quality. The trigger is ever smoother

My wife loves this pistol! She shot it the first time like she had owed and shot this pistol for years! She highly recommends the F series. Perfect for a smaller hand and easy to operate! She says you won’t go wrong with the PDP F!

Researched the top brands, HK, Sig, etc., carried most of them on duty, but never a Walter. Enough said. So far so good.

Never disappointed with a Walther. This one didn't surprise at all with it's smooth shooting and spectacular feel in my hands. Looking forward to my next Walther purchase.

This pistol definitely has some of the best ergonomics and one of the best striker-fired triggers available out of the box. The grip angle, palm swell, texturing, and placements of slide stop and magazine release are all great. The trigger is crazy good: short take up, firm wall, almost no creep until it breaks, and super-short positive reset. I love the way this feels in my hands. It is so easy and natural to get fast and consistent presentation the exact same way every time from draw to

I took the pistol to the range about a week after I purchased it. I ran about 100 rounds through it using both magazines. No failures to fire or eject. Pistol ran perfectly. I like the trigger. Once I got the sights adjusted to me, we shot out the center of the target. I will mount a green dot reflex sight on it and it will be one of my EDC pistols.

I bought this gun expecting to be thrilled. Unfortunately the cons kind of outweighed the pros in my opinion. They have some great feature such as the grip texture, the pinky part on the mag well, and the trigger. Unfortunately this is outweighed by the super thick slide, lack of concealability, plastic sights and most importantly the horrendously Snappy recoil. I'm a big shooter and an instructor, so I know how to grip the gun and I have shot a LOT of different guns. I sold this one

Have less than 100 rods through it thus far, but very well balanced and accurate. Nice feeling gun in the hand.

Absolutely love this handgun. I conceal carry this everywhere I go. The trigger is by far my favorite out of any handgun I've shot and the grip texture is great and comfortable as well. Would definitely call this a worthy successor to the legendary PPQ.

This pistol makes the 4th Walther I now own and I couldn't be more impressed. This pistol right out of the box is dead on and for the price I paid on the Palmetto website on their New Years Eve Sale, It felt as if I gave my self a late Christmas present. Optics (red dot) flash light and a custom holster and this has become my new primary carry pistol. I have carried the PPQ 5 inch for several years but the PDP Compact replaces it as my #1 go to pistol. I will also be making Palmetto my first stop shop for my future gun and equipment needs, you guys are awesome

Awesome Glock alternative! Shoots amazing out of the box, amazing trigger that breaks clean and firmly. The stippling on this platform is the best of any non-1911 frame I've shot. My only complaint is the lack of availability magazines right now as it seems only a few non-Walther manufacturers are making the PDP mags. I got my optic plate for my Holosun 407c in about 10 days after requesting it. Great gun. Worth consideration.

It's a chonky boy, but it's easy to handle and is an excellent duty pistol. It has a best in class trigger (for a striker fired pistol) and that's not just fancy marketing jargon. Excellent grip, easy to rack, and average recoil. Get a quality red dot, get it zeroed, and then you'll be poppin' soda jugs on BLM land in to time! Yeee haw!

I am new to CCW. My EDCs are a P365 with a Romeo Elite and the Walther PDP 4in compact with a Holosun 507c. I love this gun. Trigger has no mush (unlike my Sig) It is the same every time you pull it. Grip is perfection. It has NEVER failed to feed or cycle cheap range stuff to +P or +P+. That reliability helped me as a new shooter. With an optic in place, you have to modify the way you grip the rear of the slide or use the front slide serrations. Unlike my P365, the front slide
