1 year agothe specs on the listing are wrong this is a smooth shooting 890fps load. It is cleaner than some. Works well in my 1911 5 in. It does have small pistol primers that no big deal unless your a reloader and get them mixed with the more common large primer cases. This is a great buy and I will buy more when they restock.

1 year agoThis is American made ammo that is cleaner than most and works well in my 1911 5 inch. It is fantastic for target practice very smooth at 830fps. This is my second order and I will continue to order at this great price.

1 year agoI hesitated to make my first purchase of Independence .45 cal ammunition because I didn't know the brand. It was on sale at Palmetto State Armory so I took the plunge. Made by Federal it arrived well packaged with rounds in cartridge blocks rather than packaged loose. I've ran about 200 rounds through my Springfield 1911 TRP without malfunction or misfires. Cartridges are new with small pistol primers which may be an issue for reloads. I find the ammo as accurate as any practice FMJ rounds.

1 year agoOne of the softer shooting 45 ammo I've shot with no FTF or FTE issues. Very reliable and consistent in recoil and accuracy. Tested with G30 G21 and 1911. Very clean and great value. No problem buying this again. Excellent to introduce someone to the 45 platform or to shoot all day without hand fatigue.

1 year agoThis is a FMJ 230 grain bullet loaded in a Speer brass case that uses Small Pistol Primers. It functions smoothly in my 1920s Argentinian 1911 Glock 21 H and K USP and AMT Backup. I have shot over 1000 rounds through my AAC Ti-Rant 45 and Bowers 458 Suppressors. This is the ultimate test for "nasty ammo" - and this does remarkably well. It is relatively low residue in all pairs including a suppressed carbine. And the brass is easily reloaded with SPP and a fast burning powder -eg Titegroup

1 year agoThis ammo works. And the price is ridiculous compared to other range ammo. Blazer brass casings were a pleasant surprise.

1 year agoI purchased 500 round twice. The 1st 500 came with blazer brass and was a little dirt but were accurate at the range. The second order was Federal Brass and it was clean. I will buy more when back in stock and you cant beat the price.

1 year agoAll the good everyone said about this ammo is true. And it shoots just fine after being thrown around and ruffed up during shipping.I have spent thousands thru PSA but this was an odd and abnormal occurance. I purchased 30 boxes of this Independence .45acp ammo. 20 were packed in a factory carton (1000 rds) all's fine. The remaining 10 boxes were dumped in a box large enough to have held twice that amount. Packer had added 2 little air bags for packing material. And also added 2 extra boxes of
