1 year agoWith the holidays, I haven't had the time to go to the range yet, but my Buddy who's been loading his own stuff for decades said that you can't beat the quality and performance for the money, in fact he said he'd be hard pressed to match it price wise. He's a Boat tail fan for consistent stability and consistency so When I saw 62 gr which is at the low end of the weight spectrum for a 1 and 8 twist barrel, I added this to my inventory!

1 year agoC'mon. I just got these. They are pretty and fit in the mags. I haven't shot any yet. I'll keep the boxes and cartridge holders for future re loading use.

1 year agoI have used this ammo before and it is good plinking ammo. I have found it to be a little hotter than other loads with the occasional flier. It seems to shoot tighter groups in a rifle with 1 in 7 groves in the barrel. I have not shot it beyond 100 yards, but based on 100 yard consistency I would expect it to good to at least 300 yards.

1 year agoFor 62 gr 5.56 this stuff is excellent, especially if shooting longer than 100 yards. Boat tail ammo is great at stabilizing rounds at longer distances.

1 year agoReally good, had one light primer strike. But im pretty sure it was my guns fault, other than that, really great!

1 year agoArrived quickly. Decent ammo and glad to get these in 62g to swap out some 55g I had stored, but can now use at range.

1 year agoPicked up a box of this the other day and took it to the range. Looks and feels like a decent quality cartridge. Good value at $0.76/rnd compared to the average of $0.90+ I'm seeing lately, which is probably why I only saw 1 box left on the shelf. Functioned well, no failures. Groupings seemed tighter than Fed XM193, but maybe that was just me getting used to a new rifle. If this comes back in stock at my local stores, I'll buy more. Also thanks to the person who left me that last box.

1 year agoExcellent target ammo for indoor gun ranges. It is Full Metal Jacket, is 62 grains and has no steel core which makes it a lot more accurate. I plan to purchase more very soon. Most in door ranges will not permit the use of the military SS-109 "Green Tip" ammunition, so this ammo is perfect and it's very compatible with the rifling twist of 1 in 7, 1 in 8 and 1 in 9.
