Steel Banger
2 years agoGood for range plinking and fairly accurate target shooting. Ten Round Chronograph test averaged 11 fps higher than stated on the box with a 20" barrel. 1266fps actual. Box says 1255fps. I am shooting very consistent Five Inch ten shot groups on my 200 yard steel, weather permitting. I would say the smell of the burnt powder is annoying; ammo probably best suited for outdoor shooting. CONS: These 40 grain RN brass casings are definitely OVERSIZED and are a very tight fit going in to the

1 year agoIt works great for shooting targets. So predict if 5 star. I took one star off because one of the boxes I received was completely torn apart and just kinda wrapped around the bag of ammo. It still works fine but really would have been nice if the box was at least taped it back together before sending it out.

1 year agoi really like this ammo for the price but it was shipped a little greasy and dirty even for a brass round. it shot fine about 9" low at 25 yds but this was a used AR with a conversion kit which might be another issue/issues while shooting 5.56 i am dead on. i am considering a full time .22 AR to see how the ammo will perform. Overall great ammo for the price i will buy again. Thanks again and keep up the good work

1 year agoGood price, no problem cycling in the Walther p22. A bit oily handling and loading, but overall good choice. AU

1 year agoGood ammo for all my different platforms. Revolvers, semi auto pistols, SBR pistol and my S&W M&P 15/22.

1 year agoInexpensive way to shoot and keep skills sharp plus who doesn't like to go plinking every now and then.

1 year agoRimfire ammunition is scarce as hen's teeth now so when Sportsman's Warehouse had this available at a good price I took advantage of it & purchased two bricks of it. I have not had a chance to use it but have used the Aguila Sniper Sub Sonic (SSS) in the past. I was very pleased with that ammo so am sure I'll be pleased with this.

1 year agoFive stars for very good quality ammo. Three stars for the smell of the gun powder. Its exactly like burnt plastic. But besides that flaw, I chrono'd these against Federal and Remington Thunderbolts and the Aguilas were more consistent in their velocities from round to round. With a spread of 67fps. The others were in the mid 70's and high 80's. For serious plinking I'll favor the Aguila rounds.

1 year agoPicked up a few boxes of these and the 38gr as well. Out of 1000 rounds had 4 duds. No cycling issues using these on my 10/22, MP5 22LR, 15-22 or Buckmark. Will definitely buy more.

1 year agoThese rounds work great in all my finicky semi-auto hand guns. Worth trying if you have semi-auto pistol issues.

1 year agoFor everyday target practice. Aguila solid point 22 LR ammo is great, and the price is very competitive.

1 year agoI do a lot of target shooting and these are perfect for the price. No misfires and pretty accurate! Will definitely buy it again.

1 year agoI like Aguila and have used it before. I have not used this one as it will be for home defense but I have no doubt that it'll perform well.

1 year agoGreat ammo. The place where I shoot requires full metal jacket. I bought this in place of my lead nosed federal.

1 year agoGood ammunition at a good price. I like the copper plated bullets for my AR15 with a .22 converter installed, I hope that this will prevent leading, just a thought. These always go bang and no rtf or fte. The solid point feeds fine and is good for paper targets that I shoot at.

1 year agoRuns good in all my .22lr handguns. Sig, M&P, Taurus, and now Walther Pretty clean ammo with no significant residue if you clean firearm after each range visit. No FTF or duds with the 500ct box. The rounds come boxed in a plastic bag as added protection against dirt/moisture... really like that. Price is about best/lowest I've seen for 22lr.

1 year agoReally runs well in my ruger mark 4 hunter and mark 4 target. No FTF or FTE. Very happy with ammo and PSA service and fast delivery. THANK YOU PSA!
