American Eagle 357 Magnum 158gr JSP Ammunition 50rds – AE357A

The Federal 357 magnum soft point ammo is a excellent round. Bass pro also had a fair price on it, when most ammo is still hard to find!

I shoot federal American Eagle ammunition in several calibers and have always had good luck with it. This .357 mag shoots great out of my revolvers and cycles smoothly in my lever actions.

good ammo but i thought i would only use outside don't want to shoot through wall and hit my neighbors house

Great ammo! consistent and hard hitting. Note: the BMT Mooner will work with THIS AMMO if you take the time to debur/hone the S&W/TK moon clips! Great combination with a m627!!!!!!

This stuff is pretty hard hItting, compared to some of the other 357 loads ive tried this box of Federal schmacks.

WAS LOOKING FOR SOME 357 MAGNUM AMMO AND COULDN'T FIND ANY SO I BOUGHT these so I could shoot my new pistol until I could get my hands on some 357. This ammo performed flawlessly.

I have been shooting American Eagle for several years and I like them. I prefer the hollow point jacketed shots over the wadcutters. But you take what you can get now days. I used to get them at Longs Drugs FMJHP for $14. a box of 50. But that was back in '80 something.

This is good ammo for the range and the soft points are also good for protection from large 4 legged critters. For the 2 legged ones, you may want to opt for 125 grain hollow points.

Works great, good quality and decent accuracy. It is not just practice ammo as some may think but a good jacketed soft point hunting ammo as well.

While American Eagle brand is generally not regarded as "range ammo" by many this AE357A load is a lot more capable than that. Loaded with classic 158 grain jacketed soft point bullet this ammo is certainly useful as a field carry load against medium size animals and even larger with good shot placement. Chronograph test showed an average of 1328fps for 618 lb-ft of kinetic energy fired from a Taurus M65 4" located 6 feet from the Master Chrony chronograph. This is excellent performance. Fired cases ejected easily.
