Armalite AR-50 .50 BMG Bolt Action Rifle, Blk – 50A1BGGG

Great gun very liveable recoil with that excellent muzzle brake!! It's the ultimate long range caliber!! There isn'another caliber that comes close to the 50 BMG!! The Armalite AR-50A1 50 BMG is a long distance dead on Rifle with the 30" barrel!! There is no doubt why the longest confirmed kill in history of a mile and half by a Canadian sniper on a Taliban fighter is with a 50 BMG round!! I do not have any regrets purchasing this Armalite AR-50A1 rifle the groups are so small I feel like a Marine sniper in Afghanistan from six hundred yards!! If you can't afford a $15000 Barrett semi-auto than this is the rifle for you!!

I ordered too soon and paid a few hundred more than they are now but still like rifle. I have 338 lapis but always wanted a 50bmg.

This rifle easily shoots sub moa with multiple shooters (off sandbags). I've only used Hornady 750gr Amax. Low recoil. Very satisfied! Would like to get the same rifle in 416 barrett.

My AR-50 shoots Sub-MOA out of the box. It shoots a 1/2 MOA at 1000yds. I re-load for it. That has been a lot of fun. I have shot all brands and factory loads with no problems. Great price. I would up grade the cheek rest though.

Whats not to like about one of the heavies target rifles you can buy? This is a heavy rifle which takes up much of its 50 Cal blast and the other is mitigated by the snake head compensator. With rounds able to reach 4 miles shooting 2000yds wont be an issue. As with any precision rifle you should pay close attention to the directions and the barrel proofing (break in). This procedure although a touch arduous is the best way to make sure you have lots of accurate shooting later. I like how

Have not fired yet as getting optics and other accessories ready. Rifle is well made and came ready to go except for cleaning preparation. Feels good in your hands. Will add mor later..
