1 year agoThis is about the least expensive 38 super you can find on the net. I bought 3 boxes for use in my stock Colt Combat Commander. In those 150 I had 4 failure to feed. I tried 2 different magazines and 3 other ammunitions brands at the same time and only the Amscor had the problem. After some research there has been a suggestion that this brand is underpowered for the 1911 frame and won't fully cycle the slide back but I personally cannot say for sure. So if you don't mind the possibility of a low % FTF this should be fine target practice ammo.

1 year agoOrdered 500 rounds several weeks ago and have shot around two hundred rounds of that with no malfunctions. I saw the previous review and thought I would add my two cents. The pistol was a Commander sized 1911. This is the cheapest 38 super I have found and it worked fine out of my pistol. Of course YMMV.
