Firefly shooter
1 year agoRan 100 rounds CCI of mini max hollow points and another 100 rounds of CCI mini max round nose. Had one light primer strike with the hollow points which fired immediately after, and no additional issues at all. Read some reviews and everyone seemed to agree that the CCI mini max was the best option. I ordered some lower tier brands to try out but haven't made it back to the range yet. Very minimal recoil overall and with discount I got it for $253 out the door. Definitely worth adding to your collection if you need a .22. keep in mind that it's a heavy gun at 24ish ounces, so not ideal for a carry pistol or boot pistol.

1 year agoI have only had this pistol for a couple weeks and only put maybe 200 rounds thru it but for the money its a sound pistol and fun to shoot. It is funny with the ammo. I was using CCi mini mags and it ran fine so anything at 40 grains and 1250FPS works great. Anything less and its prone to jam.

1 year agoLove the pistol. Feels like more than a .22 in your hand. I wanted a pistol where I could shoot and not be broke buying ammo. This pistol is very finicky about ammo though. Cheap ammo jams it up, causes failure to feed or failure to eject. Cleaning pistol is a must. If you adhere to these suggestions you will love this pistol like me.

1 year agoGot this Sig Mosquito clone for the wife, but I'm the one that enjoys the plinking. This little beast eats any 22lr I throw at it.

1 year agoRan about 200 rounds thru it no problems had 1 round hang up but could have been the ammunition rather than the pistol

1 year agoExcellent quality of manufacturing. Beautiful flat dark earth finishing. I took it to the gun range and shot over 150 rounds of three different manufactures ammo without any problems. It shoots very accurately. I like it better than my Ruger SR22 and my S&W M&P Compact 22lr.

1 year agoI cleaned it really good right out of the box. It ran just fine on 4 different brands of 22LR ammo. The hollow points gave me a little trouble, but mostly OK.

1 year agoFixed sight, long pull trigger — different from trigger feel on most handguns. Not the one to practice speed-shooting. I enjoy shooting the GSG- but less than other pistols. It’s a well made firearm, looks good. Cheap 22 ammo is great... though best bet is CCI mini mag (recommended), since subsonic jams, thunderbolt is inconsistent. By comparison, M&P 22‘s more conventional trigger feel, adjustable sights (pretty accurate when zeroed), and 22 ammo flexibility make it my favorite, so I rarely shoot the GSG.

1 year agoGun is well put together, smoothe shooting, even for females, and can find ammo easily! Almost no kick at all! I carry it everywhere with my cc permit! Besides working great, it also looks awesome and clean. Love this gun! I did buy another clip to go with it! I love the 1-+1 round capacity!

1 year agoSo far so good. Looks good feels good in hand. Haven’t shot it a whole lot but no jams yet with sub par ammo.

1 year agoNice looking gun but, I can't seem to get through a complete magazine without multiple jams. The take down lever is also a nightmare to turn. What is the warranty on this gun? I would like to have the gun looked at please.
