Took it to the range and shot about 250 rounds right out of the box and no problems at all. Gun shot great, the only thing sight were a bit off (high left) other than that very pleased with the purchase. Magazines are also very good quality

I own quite a bit .22's. This is my new favorite. Cycles flawlessly. It's heavy, looks good and feels good! I added a heritage grip to it. Love it...

This is now my favorite .22. I really like the heft that the gun and magazine has. I bought a contoured wood grip for it and love the feel. Not a fan of having to use a tool to take a gun apart to clean it, but it is a small downside.

This gun looks and shoots great. My wife and I are very pleased with it. Definately a 1911 in .22LR. The only thing I noticed is that it is fairly easy to accidently put pressure on the safety while shooting, causing the gun not to fire. But that is really just a matter of adjusting your grip to allow for it. Great value and highly recommended.

Bought this pistol to shoot at the range. 22 lot less exp than 45 and the GSG operates same as any 1911. Also found many IMPROVEMENT mods on u-tube videos to improve handling and accuracy so Ii am in the process of customizing. Great beginners 1911.

Pleasant shooting pistol. Accurate and has functioned well with high velocity ammunition. Standard velocity does not cycle well though.

This is a pretty solid little shooter. I haven't had a hiccup in the first 200rnds of mixed ammo. It came covered in a cosmoline type rust protective coating (it's an import) so you will need to break it down and clean and lube it when you get it. The sights and grips are plastic, as is the guide rod. Accuracy isn't great, I suspect it's the half length plastic guide rod. There are replacements on the web I will try. As well as replace the sights. I tried some leftover 1911 parts I had laying

awesome pistol! big and heavy as 1911 :) just buy a real rosewood grips to replace those cheap plastic and it will look absolutely awesome. A bit disappointed that the hex wrench is needed to disassemble/clean it. I understand why they are doing that, but just don't like it. you must be able to partially disassemble a gun for cleaning without using any tools. Also not ideal with Aguila ammo - about 5% misfire. Same ammo has 0% misfire in my 22lr rifles. Need to check with the other ammo brands. Anyway - love this gun.

Great to shoot 1911. Make sure you clean it and oil it well before shooting, and it will take some time to loosen up, but now it works very reliably. I did get a stainless steel guide rod to replace the plastic one, but it shot reliably even before that. There is two take-down pins and one screw for some reason, but I just leave the screw out for tool-less take-down. The magazines need a break in period, and I recommend removing the follower pin for smoother operation. It only comes with one

I really like this gun. Very accurate, Greate working reliable with CCI Minnie i mags. Great looking. I would give 5 stars except I don-t likr all the white lettering on both sides. Also when you cock the hammer with my thumb beavertail grip safety keeps me from cocking it. Other than those two I highly recomend this pistol. Sportsmans warehouse were great. arid gun arrived ten days earlier than promised. They gave me a 5% veterans discount.

This is a good pistol to shoot. It is reliable and resembles the 45 version I already have. 22lr is a fraction of the price. It will keep going to the range.

I can't afford 45 ACP ammo now and this gun fills the gap. Feels and handles like a full size 1911 , just no recoil and affordable ammo. Really a fun gun to shoot . I any really happy with the customer service , both online and in the store !

I love it..it’s nice to buy a gun and be able to shoot out the center of the target right out of the box!

Very nice gun for the price. The look and feel of it make it seem like a much higher caliber handgun. It is fun gun to shoot and is very accurate. I have shot over 300 rounds so far with no issues, although I did sand the slide and slide rails to remove overspray as recommended in other reviews. I did not feel this was an issue given the price and the general quality of the gun. It only comes with one magazine and is only 10 rd capacity. Magazines can be difficult to find.

This pistol shoot great and is an actual full size 1911. Great gun for the price and is built solid.

Weight feels close to a full size Colt 1911. The weight gives a lot of stability when shooting. So far, I have not had one jam or failure to fire. I have shot 100 CCI 40 grain Mini Mags. 100 Federal High velocity. A couple of older boxes of 50 Standard velocity 22 lr. I keep it clean and well lubricated. So far it has shot everything I put through it with really decent accuracy. I shot at targets ranging from 10 yds. To 22 yds. Mine shoots about 2”

Great .22 for plinking. Very detailed. Looks and feels like it's .45 big brother. Amazingly accurate. I use Rem Thunderbolts and never had a problem. Super easy to field strip and clean. Price was right as well.

The gun is within a few ounces of my Springfield 1911. It allows me to shoot a 1911 style handgun without the high cost of 45 acp ammo. Being a .22 caliber pistol I can carry it out in the field when hunting or plink with it all day long. It shoots well, is accurate and I haven’t had any of the ejecting problems other have had, but I’ve been using the higher velocity .22 ammunition. I’d buy it again,

This is a very good 1911-style (yes, there are those who say only a 1911 In The Lord’s caliber (.45) is a TRUE 1911 ????) gun for plinking, working on shooting fundamentals (stance, grip, trigger control) The price is very reasonable; I would be willing to pay extra for an OPTIC READY/OPTIC INSTALLED version for the older and cross dominant shooters out there (yah, I’m one). I do find the magazine safety a minor annoyance
