1 year agoReceived my 1927A-1 after what I would call an extremely quick delivery. First impression was the weight of this rifle even though not loaded. A bit heavy, but that's to be expected when you see just how precise the metal work is. A beautiful piece of gunmanship(if that's a word) to the walnut furniture perfectly matched. When you shoot this weapon you first notice just how accurate a 45 cal. round can be with very little kick. if you take this gun out at a range you will immediately become the star attraction. All in all a must buy if only to just keep it for show and tell .

1 year agoExactly what I was hoping for after waiting nearly a decade to finally get mine. Get yours, you'll be glad you did, but please read on. READ your OWNERS manual. The manufacturer recommends .45 230gr rounds for proper use and function. I plan to use those for range day and if the Zombies attack I have .230gr HP rounds. With a 30 round stick magazine or 50 rounds from the drum, that will no doubt do the trick. This is a HEAVY gun, weighing in at a beefy 13 pounds before you add another … Read More

1 year agopretty good build quality, and absolutely gorgeous. kahr does a better job with these than the older west hurley versions. still seems to be a bit of a hit or miss with reliability, though, and they're stiff to cock. if the govt. didn't require semi-auto replicas to fire from a closed bolt, these would be easier to use and more reliable.

1 year agoShoots about as accurate as a rail gun. at 15 yards it will give you a 3" hole even if your in a hurry to empty your magazine of all 50 rounds. Gun is Too heavy for little people as is the charging handle. It will draw blood if you hit it wrong. But i love this thing!!!!!

1 year agoVery Quality-built firearm; nice finish. Several issues with drum mag, maybe will work themselves out with break-in

1 year agoNot ready for prime time: Neat gun to own for sure. It just does not shoot right out of box. The first thing is the springs. Good Lord. Why have springs so strong I have to use a make shift lanyard to pull bolt back. First time to range using stick mag, it was just a ‘jam’ fest. Every 2-3 bullet would not chamber and jam. I installed an aftermarket spring set and I can at least pull bolt back. I called Kahr and they advised to return gun to them. Kahr mentioned polishing feed ramps. That is in … Read More

1 year agoThis 1927A-1 is a great firearm and a work of art. I enjoy the "old style" guns. I was however, surprised at the weight. Because of the weight, it shoots flatter and with very little felt recoil. Looking forward to many years shooting my Tommy Gun!
