1 year agoI’d been using Remington 120 grain HP in my Browning BLR for 20 years. I was in a pinch days before whitetail rifle season and found these Barnes bullets. Worked flawlessly, no jam ups. Found my new ammo for that rifle.

1 year agoThis ammo shoots well out of my very finicky Kimber Montana 7mm-08. I (surprisingly) recovered a bullet from the only deer I have taken with it. The mushroom could have been on a Barnes ad - it was nearly perfect. The 120’s have a softer alloy than the 140’s - per Barnes, which makes it more likely the bullet will open as designed. Only negative is the poor BC of these light copper bullets. They bleed off velocity too quickly, which significantly limits range from a moderately powerful cartridge. Would love to see Barnes load the 139 LRX for the 7mm-08.

1 year agoUnbelievable wasn’t sure about dropping down to 120 gr from 140s but they have been awesome. Shot two whitetails this fall one dropped right there the other went 30 yards but what really impressed me was the two hogs I shot one was 330lbs neck shot complete pass through the other was right200 lbs couldn’t be happier ????
