Barnes VOR-TX is precision ammunition loaded with the deadliest bullets on the planet. Barnes, the leader in bullet innovation offers hunters the ultimate in accuracy, terminal performance and hand loaded precision in a factory loaded round. Offering double-diameter expansion, maximum weight retention and excellent accuracy, the TSX, Tipped TSX, and TSX FN provide maximum tissue and bone destruction, pass-through penetration and devastating energy transfer. Multiple grooves in the bullet’s shank reduce pressure and improve accuracy. Barnes all-copper bullets open instantly on contact – no other bullet expands as quickly. Nose peels back into four sharp-edged copper petals destroying tissue, bone and vital organs for a quick, humane kill.

  • Bullet profile ensures flawless function and feeding in AR-style rifles, the cavity provides for rapid expansion, devastating energy transfer, an excellent choice for whitetail, hogs and defense initiatives
  • Specially engineered nose cavity expands rapidly, tremendous energy dump shocks the animal’s system, causing major disruption to vital organs
  • All copper design retains nearly all of the bullet’s weight for deep, pass-through penetration, maximum destruction of tissue, bones and vital organs for DRT performance

Hunting in CA, just switched to copper shells. Choose these after shooting several other brands to see which patterned best in my gun. They performed well in the field. Just took a nice buck and will soon be taking them to Wyoming, where the shots will probably be much longer, but I expect good results.

I've used only these here in CA for over 6 yrs and have had excellent success with groups of 5 shots 1"wide and 2 high. Dropped a huge hog two weeks ago. Nearly 300 lbs on the hoof.

California hunters are required to use lead-free ammo. Barns was the first brand I tried and I was very happy with them. They are consistent and for copper rounds expand well. I recommend them

It's expensive but it's accurate and devastating on deer. It opens up and if it hits bone the four petals break away and the center just keeps going on out the other side

First time using it. Dropped a 300lb+ ???? 1 shot, double lung through first shoulder and to the second shoulder. Will buy again.
