1 year agoI've own 2 of these riffles their great Guns & hold up to all kinds of weather. With the gun & Nosler accubond bullets 180gn. It's a deadly combination. The gun is on backorder but I will be buying another one when they come in.

1 year agoLower recoil than any other 300 win mag, and I am guilty of handloading some very stout loads. It stovepipes on light bullets, so keep in mind you should probably only use it for bullets above 168 grains. Though a 135 grain bullet can really blast at high FPS, it will more often than not fail to eject with that light a bullet regardless of how hot the load is... YOU MUST always FULL RESIZE your brass with this chamber, it has tight tolerances and will not load shells that are not PERFECT. The BAR eats more ammo without complaint (actually, it eats all ammo - period), but the recoil is a bit greater than this benelli R1 as is the weight.
