I bought this needing a shotgun that could handle 3 1/2 shells for turkey and goose. After having it recommended to me by the worker behind the counter and a small amount of research I thought it looked like a solid gun and continued with the purchase. I thought the transition from a semi-auto Remington 1100 to the pump would be difficult but it comes very natural. I originally purchased the black SuperNova and have bought another one in camo. Amazing purchase and I highly recommend it based on the ease to shoot and the awesome recoil reduction in the SuperNova.

It was between this shotgun and a remington 870 supermag. I chose this one. Now if you do the research both shotguns have fantastic reviews and customer backing. It looked like the 870 was much more customizable, if that's what you're interested in. I think the benelli had slightly better customer backing and it is a newer developed shotgun, and that carries more weight for me. It is heavier than a typical 12 gauge to support the 3 1/2" shells. You can feel the weight. But it's to be expected. Mine had a squeaking magazine spring which drove me crazy. But it's a simple enough fix. You can buy improvements online, and it doesn't effect performance. I would recommend. But don't expect it to be easy to lug everywhere.

Very well made shotgun. Pump is easy to handle and recoil is extremely low with the technology Benelli has invented. Overall Great Gun!!!

Great gun. I have cycled hundreds of shells of all different types and brands and it hasn’t jammed once

Great shotgun! Handles amazing and cycles flawlessly! Recoil reduction reall tames the recoil of 3.5 inch turkey loads. Topped it off with Patternmaster .665 choke and it a Thunder Chickens worst nightmare!!!

I bought this shotgun to get into bird hunting. I didn't want to spend a ton of money but I also didn't want to buy I shotgun I'd replace in a year. I am very please with this gun. I broke it in with September dove season, then I put it to the test with September Teal. The area I was hunting was the muddiest place I'd ever been. I, unfortunately, took a few falls from being stuck in the mud and my shotgun went with me. By the end of the day the mud was all over me and my shotgun. It ran like a champ. The pump on this thing is so smooth that it is near semi-auto. It also shoots very well with little noticeable recoil with 3" shells. I also bagged my first few teal this season. If you're in the market for a good shotgun, I'd definitely recommend this one.
