These features, combined with Combat Sights, enhanced fire control, and an extended magazine release result in an uncompromising pistol that aims for top performance ideal for competitive dynamic shooting and/or defensive purposes. Feels well balanced in my hand. I like that it comes with 2 choices for the grip . Its a solid reliable safe gun because of the decocker and the single action is just light enough but still crisp.

Somebody at Beretta was listening to the gun buying public! They made the 92 into a very viable carry gun, while keeping all the inherent superb qualities of the platform. The Centurion X model has a slim grip that molds to my hand but carries as well as a Glock 19. The gun feeds everything I fed it, including hollow points and inceptor type rounds. It shoots flat and has just enough weight to mitigate recoil well. I put night sights on mine, but it's good to know I have the option of putting any of a variety of red dot optics on it. I can easily dry fire the unloaded gun with a snap cap in it. That's part of why I prefer hammer fired guns. I hope more shooters will not overlook this vastly improved version of the Beretta 92 !!

In my 20 plus years of handling and shooting firearms, this Beretta 92x Centurion is probably the best I've ever fired. I thought the Px4 Storm was the one, and is a great firearm, but the 92x is just a great consistent shot. The trigger is smooth, but crisp, and the gun has very little recoil. Can't wait to get it back to the range!

I shot 200 rounds through it the evening I picked it up and fell in love, and have been dry firing it a lot to get used to it. My only complaint is the mag release.
