This is one of the best shooting pistols made today. Extremely accurate. Eats all kinds and makes of ammunition without any malfunction, ever. It will fit your hand very comfortably. Due to its full size, recoil is not an issue even using +P ammo. You will not be dissatisfied with this pistol.

This is my main carry weapon. Shoots great and is accurate to a good distance. Love the manual safety and the double action/single action ability. I hate the long trigger pull of a glock or some s&w. I did have a small problem with hollow points getting stuck on the feed ramp sent it to Beretta for free and got it back 2 weeks later and zero problems since. Every weekend on the range. Can't stop shooting it. God has created this gun for him self, that's how good it is.

I have put more than 900 rounds down range through my Beretta 96A1, using both TMJ and HP ammo, with zero malfunctions. Despite its size, with the right OWB holster, it is not difficult or uncomfortable to carry. It is a superb firearm: solid; accurate; well-balanced; a pleasure to shoot; and, above all, reliable.

Love this gun had one years ago let it go to a friend and wished I always had it back now I do! This gun shoots to point of aim and the faster you pull the trigger the more steady the gun is with about an inch flip so you stay in the kill zone longer or for the full magazine if you want to

The more I shoot this gun the more I enjoy it I've always been fond of 1911s for the price this is a well made pistol, simple to break down for cleaning, now I'm thinking of getting its little brother in 9mm

Excellent DA / SA in .40 S&W! This is a heavy pistol, but the added weight helps with the "snappier" recoil of the .40 S&W cartridge. Very accurate. Mec-gar mags are available with a 13 round flush fit and 15 round extended for added capacity. Very easy to gunsmith yourself and adjust the trigger pull weight or change it to a G-Type that is decock only.

Hey what can I say it's a Beretta. One of the best guns on the market. Got the 92fs a while back. Jumped on this the minute they said back in stock. Did the Mcarbo spring kit on the 92 and plan to do it on this also

great gun, great customer service and people at grabagun .... I dinged it because ALL berettas have just a so so trigger, and that is to be expected when buying a beretta. sending to Langdon to get the trigger work done, then it will bump it up to 5 stars. Grabagun and staff get 5 stars. If anyone is thinking of buying this pistol ... DO ... then go to Beretta and get the 9mm barrel and mags to go with it. The 96a1 has a buffer built into the slide and you can shoot 9mm+P all day long without afecting your block or frame.

Classic Beretta DA/SA styling in .40. Reliable. Proven. If you are a hammer fired, semi auto fan, then this is one to consider.

Great pistol. Not exactly ccw material, but great for home defense or plinking. Pretty accurate with decent ammo. Very easy to clean. Got a 9mm conversion barrel also. I run the same mags with both barrels and they work just fine. I shoot 9 more often now, but I like the versatility of having both. Can't do that if you go with the 92.
