Beretta has always made great stuff, with no exception being this shotgun. It comes with the three most frequently used chokes, I didn't need to buy more. The action is smooth, this gun was a total shooter out of the box and on day 1 became my "go to" gun, my Rem 1100 finding its way into the back of my gun safe. This gun gets the job done putting game on the table. Pass the salt n pepper please.

Replacing my used Remington pump, I decided on this based on using a friends A300 and his recommendation. My trap game was best 5 with the Remington pump; terrible even though I'm a relative novice. When I first brought this out to the range I really didn't expect much better, but was pleased to see how much easier it was for me to score hits. Best game that day was 18! So, it goes to show this gun is easier for me to sight in. Operation was flawless. a full disassembly can be tricky, but once you do it, it's not so bad. Easy to do a basic breakdown for cleaning. Well made, too. This will be my primary and I'll keep the Remington for home defense, possibly. I'm set now!

After searching every conceivable site on the internet, I concluded that I wanted a semi automatic shotgun that I could try my hand at trap shooting and possibly skeet shooting, while still being able to use it in the field. I finally settled on the Beretta A300 Outlander in Wood. I love my Beretta, shoots like a dream and feels so solid in my hands. I'm from Canada so the Beretta A300 I purchased at the Bass Pro in Canada was made in Italy. You can feel the quality. I thought the price was great for a quality shotgun and after shooting it at the trap range over a dozen times, I have not encountered a single issue. Hoping for many many more years of joy.

I’m very happy with this gun I use it for waterfowl and clay shooting and it’s a fun gun to shoot. The only real issue that I had was that it seemed a little different to shoulder at first but I got use to it and love shooting it.

I'd never buy a Beretta again! The wooden stock had "dents" and use marks on the underside. So, I didn't discover until I got home and put the gun together. Contacted Beretta immediately via email-you can't call them right now, they are too busy I've been told. They want me to pay for shipping and handling and send the stock across the country. Ridiculous! I bought a Beretta based on their reputation. Well, I can tell you that this company does not care about quality and it's customers. Shamefully and I, my family, and friends will not buy Beretta in the future!

I’ve had this piece a year now and have put my first 1000 rounds through it and it has been flawless. 95+% have been 1oz 7.5 or smaller shot for clays. Not a single malfunction and it being a bit heavy has very light recoil. I have run magnum buckshot and 2.75” slugs just for fun and they of course function without issue. The walnut stock has really nice wavy and curly figure; I am a woodworker and paid the extra $120 just for that aesthetic (the black synthetic model is the same gun), it’s that beautiful. This was my first shotgun and while I’m not a hunter, I am interested in going for ducks or turkeys some day and this gun will serve me well for those.
