1 year agoI bought this gun one month ago and have shot over 1000 rounds throughout so far and not one issue. it feels amazing to shoot even when I was unsure how the kickoff system would actually feel like. If you are looking for a great semi-auto shotgun get this one

1 year agoVery well made, nice wood, and it feels great, not too heavy, not too light, just right! The recoil reduction mechanism works really well, it kicks less than my Benelli 20ga! I really love this gun!

1 year agoMy shotgun was shipped quickly to Bass Pro Shop. I am thoroughly pleased with the quality of the gun. The engraving is very beautiful and I look forward to hunting with shotgun for pheasants and grouse in South Dakota.

1 year agoVery light and minimal recoil since it is gas operated. My 9mm handgun has more kick than this 20guage when shooting trap load.

1 year agoGreat shooting gun you should definitely still buy it if thinking about it. It just doesn’t cycle light loads anything that isn’t one ounce or at least 1300 FPS it will hang up. Called beretta they said I could send it to cole gunsmithing and they could open the gas port up or I could keep shooting it so far I have a few hundred rounds through it and it still struggles to cycle light loads.

1 year agoThis is my second Beretta A400. My first Beretta A400 was stolen by some SOB while I was Pheasant hunting in Kansas. I loved my first gun so much that when it was stolen I went out and bought another. Great gun.

1 year agoFirst, I am a Beretta fan. This is my second A400. I really love this shotgun and can't say much else about it. I purchased the Xplor last year because the Upland wasn't available through Cabelas. But when I saw that Cabelas had the Upland model, what else, I got it. To add more, the A400 operates perfectly and is easy to field strip for cleaning, and it cleans up easy. The wood is beautiful right out of the box. The kickoff must work as I don't notice the expected kick. If I didn't love it, I would not have two. What more can I say. As an added note, I have ordered three shotguns in a row from Cabelas, sent to the store, and it works great. I recommend it.

1 year agoI bought this gun 3 weeks ago, I took it out for practice yesterday. This is my new favorite shotgun. It cycles fast, it is lightweight, and I hit everything with it. If you are considering this I would say just pull the trigger (pun intended) and get one!

1 year agoI bought this gun because it looked good. as a teenager I had used a Beretta for six or seven years. I sold it before moving to California. So I bought antoher. this gun is light, looks good, and with the kick out you feel no recoil only hear the blast. I am super pleased with my purchase. Enough so that i just bought another beretta an over and under 28 gauge.

1 year agoBeautiful gun and relatively light. Only complaint I have is the sight rib on the barrel isn’t straight or lined up. Have to send it back to Beretta to get it fixed or replaced. Shouldn’t have left the manufacture like that.

1 year agoAt the writing of this review I've run over 300 rounds of differant loads through the A400 trap shooting. On one day I shot 50 rounds at the gun club then went phesant hunting. In all cases the the A400 has preformed flawlessly. No problems at all. I do clean it after each session at the gun club. I have changed out the shims provided with the gun to have it fit me better. Being able to do this is a real plus. Well worth the money.
