PX4 storm double/single-action semiauto: absolute durability, reliability, ergonomics and interchangeability of parts have made it the go-to choice for shooters around the world.
Features:
- 3-dot sight system: the 3-dot sight system is adjustable for windage and makes target acquisition easy under most light conditions
- Ambidextrous safety – easily train or shoot with either hand
- Automatic firing pin block: the PX4 gives you an extra level of safety while in the holster or not in use-the firing pin is blocked automatically to prevent any type of accidental firing
- Commander-style hammer – besides being a custom-looking touch, the commander-style hammer is lighter; hammer-fall during firing is therefore crisper and will not disrupt your aim
- Drop-free magazine – tactical magazine-exchanges on the PX4 are easy and lightning-fast, when you operate the magazine-release, the magazine falls free and does not require the use of the off-hand
- Interchangeable backstraps – the interchangeable backstraps will make the PX4 grip fit ergonomically most hand-sizes and shooting styles
- Picatinny rail – the built-in Picatinny rail makes it easy to complement the PX4 with a variety of tactical accessories such as lighting devices, with no gunsmithing required
- Reversible magazine release: most controls on the PX4 are reversible or ambidextrous, making it possible to train or shoot right- or left-handed
- Ultra-durable, ultra-safe for concealed carry and home defense
- Snag-free, modular design, loaded with features
- Reliable, pleasant to shoot and easy to maintain

2 years agoI took my PX4 down to the range for the first time today. Out of all my 9MM, this may quickly become my favorite. Here are some of the reasons: 1. All the controls are easy to reach using just your shooting hand. I will admit the decocker/safety is in an odd spot (I'm used to them being on the frame rather than the slide) but found it very easy to use once I got used to it. I especially appreciate the oversize slide release. That is a pleasure to use. 2. The sights are amazingly easy to pick up. I'm used to having to replace factory sights because of my eyesight. I find factory sights insufficient, particularly in lowlight situations, such as an indoor range. I shot at an indoor range today and had no problem. The 3 dots are very bright and easy to see. 3. Muzzle flip and felt recoil, I thought, were much reduced on this gun compared to my full size Sig 226 and definitely over my Glock 17. I am assuming I can attribute this to the rotating barrel absorbing recoil. I am sure that is the reason for the reduced muzzle flip. 4. The gun just feels good in the hand. It is easy to grip and very comfortable. I have minor arthritis in my hands and do have a little bit of a problem with any handgun that is hard to get a good grip on. Not so with this one. 5. The SA trigger action is a bit creepy and, to my taste, has excessive travel but it is a good balance of weight vs. ease of pull. I think the DA trigger action is where this trigger shines. I have a tendency of pulling my DA shots on my other DA/SA handguns. I did not find that to be the case with this gun. It does not feel like I'm towing a car with my trigger finger when operating DA. Nice and smooth without excessive weight. Very nice. 6. Accuracy is very good. I'm far from a sharpshooter but was able to keep all my hits well inside center mass at 10 yards with no problem. For the money, this may have been my best deal ever on a handgun. I would recommend this one to anyone looking for either a target or self-defense handgun. One word of warning. Plan on cleaning before heading to the range. Mine was literally dripping oil when I first took it out of the case. I had to field strip it and get a ton of oil out of it before I felt it was safe to use.

2 years agoWow! This pistol might not be the most attractive. But it shoots like a dream! I picked up the 9mm model. I put 100 rounds of 124g fmj through it for my first session. The rotating barrel design is really different. The shot feels smooth and tight all the way through. A lot different than the usual Browning Action. It's fun to shoot. Accurate too. I'm used to aluminum frames. So the polymer frame, grip feels cheap to me. Especially compared to my Kimber micro 9. That can be solved with some after market grips. I can definitely see this turning into my favorite gun for target shooting! There's a noticeable reduction in recoil and muzzle flip with this pistol. I highly recommend the px4 storm! I really want the compact model!

1 year agoI have had this gun 6 months and 600 rounds thru it. I absolutely love this gun… my grouping out of box was about 3 inches within the last 6 months I’ve gotten to about a inch and a half tight groups. Feels great in hand, recoil is minimal, trigger is amazing ( there are upgrades but I’m content with it ) and finally accuracy out the box is amazing. Hands down love and recommend this full-size!

1 year agoGreat pistol and great help from Cabela's gun counter! Ran 300 rds through it last weekend, no hiccups or jams and I shot it pretty darn well for a newbie. Recommend!

1 year agoI bought this gun for both of my daughters. One is right handed and the other left. They both shoot very good. Love the twist barrel to lower recoil.

1 year agoI have had the 9 mm version full model for over 5 years now. I have fired thousands of rounds through it. Nice trigger pull with very little recoil. The three-dot sight system makes alignment and accuracy easy and repeatable. The dual action is excellent. Was easy to get used to the operation and overall function. The PX-4 Storm operates effectively and cleans easily. I appreciated the second magazine and hope that continues. I am looking to purchase a second soon that is how satisfied I have been with my original. I tested and fired Glocks, S&W, SIGs and they have nothing on my storm for any price. I highly recommend.

1 year agoHad my eye on JXF9G20CA for a while but Basspro didn’t have stock. Took it straight to the range after I picked it up and shot 200 rounds through it. Hit the bullseye at 25 yards repeatedly. Not the cheapest out there, but met all my needs inc safety and felt great in my hands. Comes with 2 mags, 2 additional grips, and speed loader.

1 year agoI've been shooting all my life and have no particular aversion to recoil. At 73 years old, however, I find that I want a "soft shooter" for my home defense gun. Having gone through M&Ps, Sigs, Glocks, etc, I now have just one, the Beretta PX Storm. I don't know whether it's the rotating barrel that accounts for it, but this is the best...and t...Read More Read more about review stating A true "soft shooter"

1 year agoOUTSTANDING gun, quality of workmanship is a solid 5 stars, smooth action and dependability is above the mark. And the gun came with 2, 17 round clips was good too. And I went online and bought a 20 round clip..

1 year agoSo far I have had pretty good experiences with this handgun. Just like everything else it has its quarks. This one happened to be missing the slide catch spring. Other than that, very happy.

1 year agoThe storm has never been my first choice because I'm a 1911 guy. What is like is the workmanship in the Beretta, the decock feature, the capacity and reliability. It's my truck gun.

1 year agoWas shipped a little dirtier than I was expecting. Otherwise all of the wear on it is cosmetic and it shoots really nicely. Trigger has a lot of take up in single action, though. I'll have to get used to that.

1 year agoAfter shooting Berettas for forty years they are absolutely one of the best. Very safe, comfortable, reliable and very accurate

1 year agoVery good pistol, likely doesn't get enough love. Accurate, reliable and easy to shoot well. If Beretta would dump the "bat wing" safety levers and add some mild stippling on the sides, they would be better received among shooters. If one changes the levers out to F type or slightly rounded edges like the Compact Carry, it would be nearly perfect....Read More Read more about review stating Beretta PX4 Storm Full

1 year agoI'm glad that GUNS.COM's guys push me (just a little, the true) to buy this gun.... It is a defensive counseled fire arm that won't let you alone, and that's for sure that it would save your physical integrity at any adverse moment.... Thanks....!...

1 year agoThe Beretta shoots very accurate. I like the double single action trigger the single action trigger is phenomenon. I also like the manual safety.
