Bergara’s B-14 rifles were inspired by the desire to bring the quality that they are known for in the custom rifle world to production rifles made for all hunters. In the B-14 rifle, you will find a level of craftsmanship that surpasses all of the other production hunting rifles on the market. The B-14 HMR rifle features Bergara’s integrated mini-chassis molded into the stock to give the rifle repeatable bedding and accuracy. It also supports a fully free- floated barrel to achieve optimal precision. The Bergara Hunting and Match rifles are built to offer a rifle for both hunters and competition shooters that can perform incredibly in either situation. The stock features an adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull spacers. Built in Spain at Bergara’s highly automated and efficient barrel factory, this rifle delivers a level of quality and performance that is unmatched in its price range. The world-renowned Bergara barrel on this long-range precision rifle is complemented by their super-smooth B-14 Action, which is a two-lug system with a sliding plate extractor and a coned bolt nose and breech to ensure smooth feeding and extraction of the cartridge. It’s also outfitted with a Bergara curved trigger designed to guarantee a crisp, clean pull every time you fire the rifle. The trigger comes set at about three pounds. It has been factory drilled and tapped to fit Remington 700 style rings and bases. The (#6) Bergara 4140 CrMo steel barrel is finished in matte blue. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24, and includes a thread protector. A 5-round AICS detachable magazine is standard with the HMR rifle. QD flush cups are included in the stock to allow for easy attachment and detachment of slings.

I am more than pleased with this rifle. I went to the range to break in the barrel and after the 3rd series of 5 shot groups with hornady black ammo, all five bullets were touching at 100 yards. The temp was around 55 and the wind sw 15-20. Overall one of the best rifles I've owned. If I were to say anything bad it would be the trigger could be tuned down a little but this does not take away from Bergara in any way. They have it right and hopefully keep coming out in new calibers. Thanks

Wow..........I must have a different gun. My Bergera B14 in 6.5 Creedmore would make a better paper weight. I did a 50 rounds breaking, Worked up 13 loads based on H4350 and 140, 130 and 128 match bullets. Best group was 2". Very rough barrel and takes forever to clean.Very bad tooling marks down the rifling. I will try to lap the barrel and see if that does any good. Don't waste your money.

This rifle is ridiculously accurate out of the box. Do yourself a favor and buy one. All three pictures are Hornady Match 140gr ELD First two pictures are at 100 yds, third picture at 200 yds

Just picked up a 6.5 Creedmoor at Bass Pro in Harrisburg. This is very well made especially at this price. It has a 24" barrel and came with a Picatinny rail. I could only shoot at 50 yards for break in but will install a muzzle brake and try it at much further distances when I have a chance. Looking forward to shooting this gun a lot.

I love this gun. I've spent the time and money trying to build Rem700 rifles to shoot this good. If you compare getting a quality trigger, threaded barrel, magazine fed, mini-chasis stock and an enlarged bolt handle....you couldn't build a gun this cheap. It's a great shooter too! very accurate even with factory ammo. Bergara is a great brand and you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic rifle for the price. Only have shot 143eldx through it, factory and hand loads and can barely tell a difference in accuracy as both are impressive. Haven't taken any game with yet,but quickly became my new deer rifle. Fun to shoot, minimal recoil, well weighted gun. No reservations in recommending this rifle

Right out of the box this rifle is a tack driver. Even during the barrel break in process shooting 5 single shots with cleaning in-between 3 different shooters were able to put the bullet virtually in the same hole at 100 yards. I have been developing my own hand loads for this rifle and must say that I am supremely happy with this purchase. I can shoot all day at varying distances and this rifle lives up to the billing. Only negative I would give to this rifle is I really don't believe it is suited for any hunting where you may need to walk a good distance. The gun is heavy to me for a hunting rifle. As a bench rest or match gun I think this is the best deal out there.

There’s a lot of performance/features value for the money here. I’ve seen here and online that some people have gotten a bad copy. That’s unfortunate because if you get a normal copy, you should be very satisfied. I purchased mine in the spring as a 6.5 CM and have about 500 rounds through it. I’ve had it out to 1000 yards, though typically I shoot it out to 400. It’s a very accurate, easy to shoot rifle. As other’s have said, sometimes the rifle makes you a much better shooter. It may be based on the Remington 700 action, but the difference between a Rem 700 rifle and this one is night and day. The action is incredibly smooth – very similar to a Tikka. I wanted a 308 in this action, but didn’t want to buy the same rifle again, so I purchased a Bergara Ridge. I’ve just started shooting that one and, like the HMR, I love the build quality of the rifle, the smoothness of the action, and its accuracy.

I bought this gun in 6.5 Creedmoor, it is a fantastic rifle. With hand loads I can get 10 shots to shoot just over .5 in. at 100 yards, and I don't consider myself to be an exceptional shot. I love the stock, and for the first time I don't think I'll be replacing it with aftermarket options. The grip angle is great for prone/sitting/bench shooting, not the most comfortable gun to shoot off-hand but I'll will seldom ever be used in that fashion (bipods/ shooting sticks mostly). It's heavy, but it's manageable unless you're going on an multi-day hunt and have to pack everything out at once. With a muzzle break you can easily track your shots, and it feels like a glorified .223. The reviews on this guy are true gents, get out your credit card...

I bought the HMR in 6.5 Creed Right out of the box the rifle was shooting sub MOA. With hand loads it shoots less than 1/2 MOA For the price you can't beat it.

Bought some cheap ammo to break in the barrel today. After break in I shot a three shot group with the same ammo measuring just under .5 MOA at 100 yards. WOW! Can wait to see what it does with reloads. Awesome rifle!

This is a very heavy rifle ,that can be use for hunting from stand only ,but in no way it is a brush gun like you see on tv. Yes ,it is accurate ,but this is just the norm now ,my tikka is equally accurate but skinnier. I think the trigger is very stiff and has to much pulling for my like ,even at the minimum possible! The included picatinny rail is for more than 600 yards, something I will never use. I regret buying it .

I bought in 6.5 Creed. 1/2 MOA at 100yd and 1" at 300yds with Hornady Match. I've topped with a Vortex Strikeforce scope and love every aspect of this rifle. The only negative is the weight which was known, but should be considered.

I bought one of these rifles and it was the easiest rifles I ever zeroed and it shoot everything I put through it very well so far no complaints and I was putting bullets through the same hole at a 100 yards

Was wanting something that works well as a bench gun but could also be packed through the woods. Considering all the mid priced chassis rifles and hunting bolt guns this one is in a sweet spot. Owning this rifle and the Ruger Precision i can say the advertised 1lb weight difference is very noticeable, with very similar set up. I could not see my self packing the Ruger very long. Of course I'm not going to climb a mountain with the Bergara either but it will definitely be more comfortable to pack for a longer time. As for accuracy the name speaks for itself, Bergara has been producing accurate barrels for more than a few years, if you do your part and it will shoot clover leaf a 100y all day. I was ringing steel at 500 within 6 shots out of the box.

Very accurate out of the box, one of the smoother bolts on the market, best stock by far under the 1k mark from factory. Absolutely love it.

So the standard hmr comes with 22” barrel. Apparently this one from bass pro is exclusive with 24” barrel. Great choice! Comes already with the moa rail and 1 mag. The 6.5 cm was very hard to find since it’s never in stock.

The only negative comments seem to have something in common. Uninformed buyers. If you want a sub-moa tack driver under 1k...this one of the only options and more importantly the best option. Even compared to rifles at a higher price point, the B-14 is smoother and as or more accurate than anything under 3 grand. If you are never going to shoot beyond 800 meters, or your more interested in a hunting rifle and weight is a concern, I recommend purchasing the 22 inch barrel model. The b-14 is an upgraded remington 700 clone, meaning it comes out of the box with all the upgrades and gunsmith voodoo magic that 700 owners pay hundreds of dollars for to achieve the accuracy this rifle gives you out of the box. The finish and fitment are fantastic. The action cycles like it's on ball bearings and the magazine fit is the best I have ever experienced. I absolutely recommend this rifle to anyone looking to get into long range or looking for a hunting rifle with the capability to reach out and touch things at extreme distance. If you search Bergara B-14 1 mile shot....you can see for yourself this rifles capability...in 300prc that is.

Looks great, nice trigger, it would be nice to tell potential buyers that a 20 moa Warne rail is included

I enjoy shooting the rifle but I have 3 issues with this purchase: 1. The rifle is way out of balance with too much weight toward the end of the barrel. Without a bipod or sandbag underneath it is difficult to shoot accurately. 2. The bolt action is not smooth when discharging the empty round. I am hopeful this will improve as more rounds are fired and it breaks in. 3. The cheek rest must be lowered every time you shoot in order to discharge the empty cartridge. For the price it is a fine rifle but I wish I would have fired one prior to making the purchase.
