BioAmmo N.8 Lead Dove and Target 12 Gauge 1 oz 2 3/4in Shotgun Ammo, 25 Rounds, BL28-80

I wanted to like this product, as it is better for the environment, and being aware of environmental impact is our responsibility while hunting. Unfortunately, I can not recommend. From the start, I noticed the consistency is not up to par. I bought a few hundred for a group to shoot pheasant, quail, and chucker. They were run through many shotguns, all good quality with no prior issues. They were run through pump action, semi-auto, and break action over/under. I immediately noticed, loading them into my break action, some were very tight and needed to be forced into the shotgun. There were no issues shooting, and removal was not a problem. Pulling the spent cartridges came out smooth and easy. However, due to the inconsistency in width, I could not use them on any of the other shotguns. The pump action would not feed them, since about every other one was too tight. It was simply unusable and the shotgun was put away for the day without even being shot. The semi-auto seemed to cycle them, but after about the 8th shot, the spent shell case actually separated from the metal base. I've never seen this before. The base came out, but the case was stuck in the barrel. We didn't have anything to use to remove it unless we wanted to run a stick down the front of the barrel and try to push it out, which we didn't. Gun number 2 - out of service. I would highly advise to not use this product.

I don’t recommend this ammo because I could not load 2&3/4 inch 12 gauge shells into my 12 gauge Remington 1100. The breach of the gun would not even close as the shell gets stuck trying to enter the barrel. A friend of mine tried to cycle in a Browning A5 and also experienced rouge cycling. Wish I saved my receipt to take these back.

Can’t recommend these, hulls soften when fired and bend in chamber to jam, also some split. I am waiting on a reply from Bio Ammo for weeks.

I have already reached out to the manufacturer, who has decided to not respond. Out in South Dakota pheasant hunting this year, within the first 5 shells of my box, I had one shell that the end did not fully open, causing the entire shell to crack and nearly explode within the gun. These shells are dangerous and I would not ever recommend buying them.

Worked fine. Only a few I had a issue loading into pump action. Not great but not terrible! Killed rabbits well

I have an A400 Xcel that has seen everything. Even though these shells are high brass I noticed shooting the one box I bought in between boxes of Nitro 27s that they 'felt weird'. Upon inspection every hull split in the chamber. I could feel it when I touched them off. Nothing jammed but I decidedly don't like the hull splitting in the chamber. Maybe this is because of the extended forcing cone the A400 has but my advice is to buy something else. I have never had a hull split lengthwise in 8k plus rounds and so that was my first and last box of these.
