The Rossi Rio Bravo is based on the company’s popular line of R92 lever-action firearms. Featuring a rich German beechwood stock and forearm with a polished black metal finish. The Rio Bravo brings the traditional rifle experience to the rimfire category. The Rio Bravo is well-suited for small-game hunting, adventurous target shooting, around-the-farm pest control, and can be used for youth training.

2 years agoI really don't like that the barrel bands are plastic. Shoots super accurate. I wish the magazine tube was like the Marlin 60 where you could see the last round and the follower would fit. You have to count out 15 rounds or your fishing one out of the magazine tube. Real pain in the butt for fast reloads. I should have waited for the Henry.

1 year agoIf you want a 22LR that’s built well, get one of the many Henry models. This lever action is just plain cheaply made.

1 year agoJust received my Rio Bravo yesterday, a much better rifle than for the money than I was led to believe, very well constructed with a solid action and crisp trigger and as accurate as rifles that cost twice the price. I would definitely recommend it anyone looking for a plinker!

1 year agoThis Rossi Rio Bravo 22LR is really great and a lot of fun for target and varmit shooting. Handles great & lite weight...Love the lever-action.

1 year agoFor a cheaper rifle it is a great Gun, you can not expect for that price a superior rifle, it seems to work fine, and looks of good quality, I bought it because I already own a Rossi Gallery that I have had good luck with, and I always wanted the Rio Bravo Western Lever action style Rifle. I expect it to work and maintain fine!!

1 year agoWhat a fun .22lr to own and shoot. little tack driver at 25yd. great sights. ring on front helps with quick rough target acquisition. the action is smooth, but still has some resistance and the handle seems to be good quality. Solid, not a stamped sheet metal ring. love the little bits of M-Lok up front for a little light or laser or angled foregr...Read More Read more about review stating fantastic firearm for plinking/ranch fun

1 year agoIt shoots pretty darn straight. We took it out the other day and the guys really liked it and were shocked when I told them how much it was, and they can't find one now. I ran a few patches thru it when I received it and oiled it up too. We shot different brands of 22LR through it and it feed fine and shot fine with them all. Fun little rifle. The sights are easy to use and sight with. I have no idea what twist this barrel has but it shoots really great at 50 yards and at 25 yards was great

1 year agoThis is absolutely the worst rifle I have ever purchased. It is off target by 6/7 " at 15 ft. I have attempted to contact Tarus in Bainbridge, GA several times. They either do not answer the phone or will not call back. I am at a loss as to what to do about it. I contacted Palmatto State Armory right after I received the rifle and was referred to Taurus. I am at a loss as to how to go forward with my claim. Thank you. Earl R Griffin

1 year agoThis rifle has a very smooth action and nice wood. I am normally not a fan of safeties but this safety is well thought out and in a decent spot it also locks the action up somewhat when used the best thing of course is to leave the safety alone.

1 year agoWhat a great little plinker! I put a cheap little Simmons on it because of my old eyes and it's almost as accurate as my Marlin Model 60....very close. CCI Mini Mags is what it liked best. Unbelievable value with old school looks!

1 year agoIt's ok I guess for a plinker but the one I recieved jams on the first round every time. I've had to get pliers to get the stuck rounds out. Once you get passed the first round it runs pretty well. The sights were way off but after about 50 or so rounds I got it to shoot pretty accurate. Like I said it's ok but not super in my opinion. This is the second Rossi I purchased in 2020 and I'm not pleased. The first was an R92 44 mag that I had to send back twice and they still haven't returned it to me from the second time. Been gone since October.

1 year agoIt's a great little 22 but you have to sight it in and by that you have to take a brass punch and tap the rear sight either left or right. Once sighted in it is a very accurate 22

1 year agoNice little rifle, I took some very fine steel wool to the stock and made it look and feel better. I also have a Rossi 357/38S lever action and did the same to it.

1 year agoNot worth what I paid for it. No gun is a toy, but this looks like one. THE BARREL BANDS ARE MADE OF PLASTIC! REALLY?! Further, poor aesthetics on the receiver with the angled design and the safety. Lever guns don't need safeties. That's what the hammer is for. There is a visible gap where the stock meets the rear of the receiver. I can see through it, but there isn't any play. Only redeeming factor is the capacity and the smooth function of the action. Smooth like butter. If you don't care about the other things, then she'll do. Otherwise, keep looking.

1 year agoI love my Rossi ,very smooth lever action, very happy with how accurately the gun shoots, over all blown away , very pleased!

1 year agoReally handi rifle. Nice smooth action. Bought a brass punch centered the front sight and wind age was dead on. I have always liked lever actions. Guess I watched to much Rawhide growing up.????

1 year agoLove the Rossi 22 lever action fantastic weapon , very easy to handle ,quite accurate & easy to load .

1 year agoNice and lightweight, fast handling. No feeding issues. Less than 1 inch groups at 25 yards. Installed a 2x7 scope to help. Only wish it had a threaded muzzle but then you would lose ammo capacity. Would buy again!

1 year agoVery nice rifle functions great own the gallery 22 also.only complaint was rear dovetail sight wasn't machined properly so sight set in dovetail slightly off center at an angle not a big deal I run an optic anyway but a little twerking fixed it.

1 year agoI was looking for a nice cowboy action rifle and this hit the mark. Haven't had achance to shoot yet but the action is smooth.
