The Citori 725 is engineered to get your eye closer to the axis of the barrels, making you more “one with the gun”, and allowing instinct to take over and put more pellets on target, all while providing the exquisite looks and workmanship you can expect from a Browning over and under. The low profile receiver makes the Citori 725 feel incredibly balanced in your hands, while Invector-DS offers the most consistent, reliable tightening of any system ever. The tapered locking bolt engages a full-width tapered recess in the rear barrel lugs. The hinge pin extends from one side of the receiver to the other for maximum strength.
The Citori 725 utilizes Browning’s Total barrel dynamics and Inflex II technology. It comes equipped with the Triple Trigger System, which fine tunes finger-to-trigger length of pull. Choose a wide checkered, narrow smooth or wide smooth canted trigger shoe. The Trap model features gold accented engraving on the silver nitride finished steel receiver, vent top and side ribs on gloss blued ported barrel, Triple Trigger System, and a Monte Carlo style stock.

1 year agoGun pulls up nice, palm swell is new to me but I think once I get use to it, it will be less fatigue for a long day at a trap tournament as it offers a grip that feels more relaxed as opposed to the standard, more slender designs. This obviously depends on hand size or just plain preference. Recoil is similar to my 425 sporting, possibly better because of a superior recoil pad on this 725, and the design of the forcing cones? The DS invector chokes are not going to back out on you, you will have to use the provided tube wrench to fully seat them even if you decide to get extended chokes with the nice grippy ends. The high rib is nice, solid, and beads are easily and highly visible. Ejectors are robust but intuitive( timing ) for those who like to “catch” their spent hulls to throw in their hull bag while on the trap field. I say robust because if you prefer to let the hulls fly over your shoulder they will in fact do just that. The look of the 725 trap is in my opinion, a thing of beauty, pics are nice but when you handle it in its walnut and metal flesh, you cannot help but appreciate the piece of art in your hands. As for performance?….I rate myself as just stepping into a true A class shooter, and I’m positive that when I miss a target with this gun, it is all me….it puts the shot where you point it, and will turn an orange clay disc into a puff of dust with an IM choke from the 16 yard line. Very nice trap gun.
