The lightest weight field gun you’ll ever covet. But you might as well make it yours – no coveting necessary. The Citori 725 Feather uses the same low-profile receiver design you’ll find in other 725’s, but it’s made from a lightweight, high strength alloy instead of steel. The breach face and hinge pin are still made from high-grade steel for longevity while giving you a gun that weighs about 13 oz less than it’s full steel counterpart. That’s a difference you’ll notice in the field. Is this a crossover. By all means. the Feather’s lineage is from the hunting side, but it’s solid, smooth performance begs for a trip around the sporting course. And your scores will show that it knows the ropes. Low profile alloy receiver with steel breach, silver nitride finish, mechanical trigger system, high relief engraving, oil finish Grade II/III walnut.

Phoenix Hunter
1 year agoLove my new Browning Citori 725 feather. It operates like a regular Citori, just a little bit lighter that a regular. Not a cheap gun, but it will last my lifetime and my son's lifetime. It swings very well, and shoots great. I love the mechanical trigger as well. I like the front and mid beads as well. Because of medical issues, I put on fiber optics sights that really pop out for me. I only wish it came with the extended choke tubes (instead of the flush) because they are easier to use and look way cooler. The rear receiver is alloy and not the traditional steel. But I use for hunting and not putting thousands of rounds through it a year.

1 year agoNice shotgun. LOP is shorter than the Sporting 725 that I own. I didn't expect that and I didn't check the stats before buying. My fault. I do wish the engraving was a bit deeper.
