1 year agoExactly what I was after I'm shooting 3" groups at 800 yards. Only wish the recoil was a little less but with big powder loads comes the recoil

1 year agoI use this ammo in my 6.8 western X-bolt and it performs fantastic. I have been impressed with the ballistics and sheer knock down power of this round. I highly recommend this round matched to a Browning rifle.

1 year agoHorrible ammo, 2 cartridges didn't have primers and gunpowder powder was all over the box and packaging. Made complaints to customer service and they gave me 10$ for the 2 cartridges, how do I know the rest of the box is even safe to shoot?!? Attempted to contact browning no response I absolutely do not recommend!!

1 year agoBought 2 boxes and 3 rounds will not chamber in my Browning X-bolt. Browning ammunition is made by Winchester which is the only other factory load available. At current prices a 7.5% failure rate is disappointing. If using this ammo for anything other than punching holes in paper I would recommend pre-checking rounds in the chamber to ensure proper feeding when it counts. Feed issues aside, the grouping is on par with the more expensive Winchester ammunition.

1 year agoMy Browning X-Bolt was shooting loose groups with the Winchester 162 grain ammo, and a friend had the same experience with his identical rifle. We both switched to the Browning 175 grain ammo, and our shot groups really tightened up.

1 year agoThese are great out of my 6.8 build. I only have an 8.4 twist, but at 8000 plus elevation, that seems to be plenty. Every distance from 200 yds to 1000 I get half MOA 3 Shot groups. I took a cow this year at 185y double lung barely over the top of the heart. Good damage to both lungs, 2 inch exit wound and lots of blood. She ran 30 yards and tipped over. This is my favorite cartridge for the 6.8 western. Loads of confidence in this round.
