Browning’s X-Bolt builds on the proven successes of past Browning rifles, and adds numerous improvements. Its adjustable three-lever Feather Trigger system provides a clean, crisp pull with no take-up. The barrel is free-floated by bedding the front and rear of the action for stability and to help maintain barrel to stock spacing for consistent accuracy. A recessed muzzle crown helps protect the rifling from damage. The bolt unlock button works in conjunction with the top-tang safety to provide an added measure of safety, while the 60 degree bolt lift is fast cycling and allows you to work the bolt quickly. The Hell’s Canyon is built to exceed your accuracy expectations, straight from the box. The action and stiff, fluted barrel are bedded and free floated to ensure straight shooting. The lightweight composite stock with textured gripping surfaces and right hand palm swell makes this rifle easy to carry; and the A-TACS AU camo is versatile enough to blend into nearly every background.

1 year agoLooks exactly like I wanted... Only problem is I can’t get ammo!!!! So I have been able to shoot it. Scope looks great on the rifle and I’m sure my rating would go up after I get to shoot it????

1 year agoI topped this rifle with a Vortex Viper HS 4x16x50. It shoots 1/2 MOA at 100 yards from the prone position. This is with Hornady factory 143 grain Precision Hunter ammo. I couldn't be more pleased with it. Camo stock, fluted barrel, muzzle brake, and a cerakote finish...Custom performance and features from a factory stock rifle.

1 year agoI can't say enough good things about this gun. The action is short, smooth and super fast. I shot a .4 MOA group with factory loads after sighting the gun in and a quick break in. The gun is well balanced and in 6.5 PRC has very little recoil. After quite a bit of research I found that this was the most gun I could get in the under 1800 dollar range and after reading reviews for other more expensive rifles I would put this rifle up against anything under 2500 dollars and it only cost me a little over 1000.

1 year agoBeautiful gun...am having it setup with scope etc...Havent shot yet or gone over it. So my rating now are only on the looks of the rifle! Was not thrilled that the gun was labeled as a display model when I picked it up from Sportsmans Warehouse,it was supposed to be an ordered new gun! So my rating on the store a 3!!!

1 year agoI got this in 6.5PRC and love it. The trigger pull is good and with the muzzle brake you can shoot all day and not feel it.

1 year agoOk. When I bought mine it was a little more expensive. I think it was $1269. But I will say this. It’s the most expensive rifle I own, And I have never had a gun that sighted in so fast in my life. I literally was touching bullet holes at 100 yards with less than 8 shots through the barrel, in the bullseye. Very low recoil and it just feels well made. I highly recommend if you have the money!!!

1 year agoI was already impressed by the looks of this rifle. However, once I paired it with the Leupold Cerakote VX3HD and took it the range I was blown away with the accuracy. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This rifle will keep the freezer stocked with meat for many years to come.

1 year agoI have not fired my Browning Hells Canyon 308 yet, but looking forward to that experience. I have researched my rifle and have full confidence that it will meet my every expectation. Guns.com was great to work with procuring my rifle. Once I mount the Zeiss 3x12x56mm Conquest scope, it’s out to the range.
