The XBolt builds on past Browning rifles and adds numerous improvements that place the XBolt at the top. The XBolts new threelever Feather Trigger provides a clean crisp pull with no takeup or creep and minimal overtravel. The XBolt is freefloated by bedding the front and rear of the action for stability and to help maintain barrel to stock spacing for consistent accuracy. A recessed muzzle crown helps protect the rifling from damage. The Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad has proprietary construction and material to promote a directional deflection of recoil forces pulling the stock comb away from your face to reduce felt recoil and muzzle climb. The bolt unlock button works in conjunction with the toptang safety to provide an added measure of safety during checking and unloading of the chamber. This Pro Long Range model features a McMillan Game Scout stock Sonora Carbon Ambush camo finish carbon gray elite cerakote metal finish skip fluted sporter barrel and Recoil Hawg muzzle brake with thread protector.

1 year agoMy son bought me this gun in a 6.5 Creedmore. The feel is incredible, accurate and a quality made gun.

1 year agoI have always been a Remington or ruger guy and my friend talked me into the xbolt pro McMillan long range in the 6.8 western heck of a name, I loved it once I placed my hands on it. Beautiful but rugged look I mounted a nightforce shv 5-20x56 on it and away we went. First day on the range after following brownings break in process I shot 2 three round groups. One was a 162 grain copper round and the other a 170 grain ballistic silver tip. Well the 162 was just under an moa 0.923 inches. Ok not bad I then tried the 170s and holy crap group measured at 0.234 inches I mean I have never in my life owned a gun that shoots that lights out with factory ammo. I will buy another xbolt super impressed.

1 year agoI bought this in 6.8 Western. After breaking in the barrel, this gun is clover leafing shots at 200 yards with no problem, using Winchester copper impact 162 grains. If you don’t like the 300 win mag recoil, you will love this combo!

1 year agoPurchased this gun in 6.8 Western at the end of 2022. So far the gun has been great. Just broke the barrel in and was already hitting sub-MOA to MOA with Winchester copper impacts. Pretty confident it will be consistently sub-MOA with higher end rounds. Only flaw on the gun was that the bubble level on the back of the picatinny was just slightly off. Trigger is great, bolt is smooth, grip fits great in your hand, muzzle break makes the gun bark pretty loud but recoil is no biggie.

1 year agoI've only had it a few days but I like it. The short bolt lift is nice only 40rds though it but it seems accurate. Knock is the price was expensive and was hard to find.

1 year agoThe purchase process was simple, Guns.com was very prompt in processing and shipping, the tracking was amazing. Very satisfied The 1 and only complaint I have is there was no mention of the rifle being manufactured in Japan!!!!!
