Browning X-Bolt Pro McMillan Long Range Carbon Gray Bolt Action Rifle – 6.5 PRC – 26in – This is no ordinary X-Bolt, nor is not for the ordinary hunter. Putting the proven X-Bolt action into a McMillan Game Scout carbon fiber stock offers the long range shooter a platform so solid you now can concentrate on optics, ammo and your skills to get maximum accuracy. This exceptional stock features lightweight carbon fiber construction, a medium sized forend with straight comb butt stock. Textured panels on the forend and pistol grip offer a great feel. It also features a comfortable vertical pistol grip with thumbshelf. Aluminum pillars ensure a stable, solid mount. Versatile Sonoran Carbon Ambush camouflage adds concealment from sharp eyes. In addition to the Game Scout stock, this rifle includes a number of upgrades. Most obvious is the great-looking, durable and highly protective Cerakote Carbon Gray finish. At the end of the skip fluted, heavy sporter contour barrel resides the new Recoil Hawg muzzle brake. The Recoil Hawg tames felt recoil up to 77% for more comfortable shooting. A thread protector is also included.

1 year agoMy son bought me this gun in a 6.5 Creedmore. The feel is incredible, accurate and a quality made gun.

1 year agoI have always been a Remington or ruger guy and my friend talked me into the xbolt pro McMillan long range in the 6.8 western heck of a name, I loved it once I placed my hands on it. Beautiful but rugged look I mounted a nightforce shv 5-20x56 on it and away we went. First day on the range after following brownings break in process I shot 2 three round groups. One was a 162 grain copper round and the other a 170 grain ballistic silver tip. Well the 162 was just under an moa 0.923 inches. Ok not bad I then tried the 170s and holy crap group measured at 0.234 inches I mean I have never in my life owned a gun that shoots that lights out with factory ammo. I will buy another xbolt super impressed.

1 year agoI bought this in 6.8 Western. After breaking in the barrel, this gun is clover leafing shots at 200 yards with no problem, using Winchester copper impact 162 grains. If you don’t like the 300 win mag recoil, you will love this combo!

1 year agoPurchased this gun in 6.8 Western at the end of 2022. So far the gun has been great. Just broke the barrel in and was already hitting sub-MOA to MOA with Winchester copper impacts. Pretty confident it will be consistently sub-MOA with higher end rounds. Only flaw on the gun was that the bubble level on the back of the picatinny was just slightly off. Trigger is great, bolt is smooth, grip fits great in your hand, muzzle break makes the gun bark pretty loud but recoil is no biggie.
