The new METE series incorporates changes designed to take a great product and elevate it to the next level of semi-automatic sporting pistols. The external changes are subtle but are instantly recognizable when handling the firearm. An integrally flared mag-well allows for fluid reloads and extra support for the grip, new aggressive texturing to include the front of the grip allows for increased stability, the double undercut trigger guard secures the support hand on the firearm, the low profile slide stop lever and angled rear sight edge increase functionality in a multitude of situations, a co-witnessing optics ready slide cut now accepting everything from a Trijicon RMRcc all the way to a micro optic allows for a constant and reliable sight picture, an ergonomically redesigned beavertail for comfortability, and a holster fit-and-lock (HFL) system for retention in the holster. The internal changes begin with easy in / easy out push pins that can be removed using slight pressure and the Canik punch. From there the entire platforms internals are modular in a sense that it can be completely disassembled and then reassembled with ease using only the aforementioned Canik punch.

1 year agoThe METE is a great gun. Very accurate. Great trigger. Easy to shoot/control. I bought a second one for my wife. Brownells customer service is second to none.

1 year agoThe 20 round mag has issues. When slide is clocked back, it will have failure to feed if you use the slide release. Even with a half loaded mag and a good tap to make sure its secured. No issue if you pull the slide back. Tired several different AMmo, same issue. Even round nose 115fmj. The 18 rounder is flawless.

1 year agogreat Pistol!!! I originally bought a TP9 Elite Tactical which I thoroughly enjoy. so when Canik came out with these two dual pistols, I decided to purchase both the SFX and SfT. They are great for the shooting range and Easy to use.

1 year agoIt's OK, not great. Be careful with using front serrations. May catch your skin. Instructions for mounting optic are confusing. Tech support (phone) claims that the included plates are not needed (for Holosun). Instructions that came with gun contradict this. Same issue with what screws to use. See Canik Forum for more confusion. Trigger fair, but not as smooth as it should be. Nice weight. Good slide action. Easy field strip. Not sure if I'd recommend it even though lots of accessories are included.

1 year agoI really like the gun, but have had several fail to feed problems. If anyone can advise what I can do to overcome this problem, I would be thankful. the slide seems to be catching on the back right of the mag.

1 year agoLove my Canik Mete SFT. Have only had 100 rounds through it so far, but no issues at all. Will be adding a Holosun 407K X2 and Streamlight TLR 7. Sportsman's was great to deal with. Thank You!

1 year agoThis gun comes with everything you need, plus with many cool extras. It looks cool, shoots better.i love it so far. This is my third Canik, so far i like the upgraded options.

1 year agoExcellent gun. Light trigger with short reset. Can a gun make you more accurate? I am more accurate and faster with this gun than I am with my APX and my P365.

1 year agoFantastic value. I have 2 H&K and a gen 5 glock but this has the best factory striker fired trigger on the market. The accuracy is great too. Would be 5 stars if it took a full size optic. I get the reason but it would be a bit better for a duty size gun.

1 year agoThis was the best cheapest 9mm pistols i have ever bought! They were on sale cheaper then a bb gun and spent basically as much on shipping then the gun. IF they go on sale again would buy way more

1 year agoBest handgun I have shot to date. I have shot Sig, Springfield, Beretta, HK, Glock, and none of those have the feel, trigger, and price out of the box. Slapped a Holosun 507k on it, and had no issues out of my first 400 rounds.
