1 year ago17HMR FMJ is great for small game ,for me it is ideal . The bullet does little or no damage it just punches a hole straight through. Shot placement is required, but this little 17 FMJ does its part if you do yours. This bullet has a reputation for too much damage on small game and it does make a mess with expanding styles. Try the FMJ, if they ever get in stock again.

1 year agoHands down the most accurate rounds for my CZ 455. Also great for small game like rabbit; they go right through with little damage to the meat.

1 year agoOut of 5 different brands of 17HMR this was the most accurate round without question. The first 5 rounds were nearly hole in hole. Thinking it was too good to be true I shot the entire 50 round box with no fliers and with repeatable accuracy. Measured muzzle velocity averaged 2507 fps with a low of 2429 and a high of 2613.
