CCI Blazer Brass 38 Special 125gr FMJ Ammunition 50rds – 5204

This is great range ammo. Very happy with it. No problems with it. Pretty clean. Not a lot of smoke.

Clean shooting. excellent for target practice. However, do not confuse these with 357 mag loads. they feel nothing alike. much, much, much (did I say much) felt recoil.

I never had any problems with this ammo. Great for practice and if need be but not first choice, could be defense ammo just because I believe it would be reliable.

Blazer Brass is usually an accurate shooting range ammunition. My preference is 9mm 124 grain, but it has not recently been available As I also have a gun that shoots 38 special, I'll buy that when I can not find 9mm. Blazer Brass 38 Special 125 grain FMJ is as accurate as Blazer Brass 9mm 124 grain FMJ.

Gunked up my cylinder immediately. Never had this problem before and after reading online I see that I am not alone with my bad experience with this ammo.

Bought three boxes of this during the soul crushing ammo shortage. I’ve gotten through two boxes of it with a S&W 649. Works as well as every round I’ve ever fired from Blazer/CCI. It’s a little dirty but otherwise works very well and is reliable (at least with this small sample size) I’m looking forward to someday buying ammo at less stupid prices.

Haven’t shot any of it yet. In all honesty I’m hoarding ammo and 38 Special is dam near impossible to locate. Even the rip-off price gougers don’t have any 38. Palmetto’s price was more than fair. If and when this or any 38 Special become available BUY IT!! Do your best to avoid the price gougers. Since the hoarding began I’ve bought several hundreds of rounds of ammo from Palmetto. The price might be higher than the past but don’t be surprised if Palmetto’s price is 40-50% less than the gougers. Don’t believe me, compare to CTD or J&G for the exact same item.

I was lucky to find any ammo for sale. Fast service, a little pricey, but supply and demand. I understand.
