CCI Varmint Ammunition lines feature a variety of bullet technologies that are designed for one goal: total devastation on impact. CCI TNT ammunition is designed for explosive expansion, while Maxi Mag offers controlled expansion and excellent energy transfer. The segmented hollow-point projectile breaks into three parts on impact: each one forming its own wound channel. These top of the line bullets are also very accurate, so small targets aren’t a problem.

1 year agoI tried these in my CZ 457 American with 24.8" barrel, and while accuracy was not great, it was good, and velocities were incredible. I graphed these at an average velocity of 2,280 fps. Fifty yard groups were on the order of 3/4". One gallon water jugs exploded violently at 50 yards. The bullets did not appear to have exited the jugs, but I found no fragments. Oranges vaporized.

1 year agoThis is very accurate at 100 yards shooting it out of a cz 455 American. Have shot groups slightly under 3/4". It is hard to find in my area I have just purchased the tnt green and hope it will do as well.

1 year agoBest and highest velocity 30 grain rounds in my experience. These behave like premium HP center-fire bullets in pistol length barrels and are explosive at rifle velocities.

1 year agoBelieve or not these shoot tighter groups than Winchester out of my S&w 648 , at 50 yards Ican cover 5 shots with a dime shooting off the sandbags. Off hand they will shoot quarter sized groups. Hard to beat that!

1 year ago2200 FPS out of a rifle is mighty zippy, but for a PMR-30 or CMR-30, move up to a 40+ grain bullet - this is only 30. You CAN shoot it out the rifle, but it's not advised.
