CCI Quiet-22 Rimfire Ammo

(22)
Caliber: .22 LR
Rounds: 50

I've shot a few different rounds through my savage mk2 fvsd and the cci green tag is the winner so far. 321 yards on a 5 gallon bucket all day. If you want extended target range with .22lr stick to subsonic ammo. Supersonic looses lots of accuracy as it becomes subsonic

I would find another place to by ammo. Prices here a whooping 50- 100 mark up and in some cases worse

My 22 mag loves this ammunition. Can put every round in the same hole. Always consistent reliable performance.

Out of Remington federal winchester and ccI. Cci is over and above the top choice for my marlin semi automatic. Consistent groups all day long.

This lower rating is not really about their performances which is quite good when you can actually fire them . This is about the lack of info or warning when buying them so here it is ; DO NOT use them in a semi automatic rifle , they WILL NOT work correctly . I`m sure now that although they have the LR size they are pack will about the same amount of powder as the shorts and hence sound about the same but they do not have enough recoil to eject and/or load the next round . In a marlin 60 it gets even worse , it ejects halfway most of the time which means it gets stuck with the incoming round and you have to manually un-jam the whole thing. From what i gather they do not work well in any semi auto rifles. Other than that they are fine and i still buy CCI rounds but the correct ones . Again this low rating is about the no warning on the subject

no FTF no FTE always goes bang. great quality compared to some competition. my first recommendation for any .22 semi auto calibers. i prefer the CCI Stinger for higher velocity and also the slight high recoil helps cycle the bolt on my 10/22. overall my fav company when it comes to .22lr

CCI makes only quality ammo. It is pricey but they also make a wide variety. I am making it my sight in ammo for precision shooting. I buy cheaper stuff for anything else.

I am writing this in regards to the CCI subsonic rounds. Over all these are the best all purpose 22 rounds you will find. No issues with cycling or miss fires. Also a bang on round for accuracy to meet all your small game hunting needs.

Was hoping for some quiet plinking at 10-20y but unfortunately this won't cycle in any semi auto I've tried it in. Tried with Buckmark camper, S&W sw22 victory also tried in Remington 597, Ruger 10/22. Will have to use this in my savage bolt action but this also shoots much lower at 50y than the 1200-1300fps ammo so you'll need to sight in.

This ammo is great for fun on the down low. While I have a legal place to shoot which complied with city ordinances I also have neighbours who dont want to be bothered by the sound of me plinking in my yard on summer afternoons. This ammo is so quite I have literally spent an afternoon shooting, seen my neighbour that evening and had him ask "what were you doing today?". He had no idea. To give an idea of how quite this is it's like clapping your hands medium hard in gardening gloves. No way as aloud as a chain saw or lawnmower. I shoot it from a Henry .22 and a Savage Mk II bolt action so have no issues about it cycling a semi automatic. It does have a different trajectory to the "full power" or "magnum" ammo - but that's clearly documented on the CCI website and you can adjust your sights or aim accordingly. Put a good few thousand rounds downrange now - never had a misfire or dud. I recommend 100%.

Giving this ammo 3 stars because it's not as quiet as some of the other reviews state. It is much louder then an air gun out of a chiappa little badger friend could hear it from almos5 100 meters away in his blind . Bought this round as something I could use to quietly harvest small game without alerting the big game that I am hunting. Another note to add is this is not a round to be used if you are an ethical hunter it severely lacks killing power. It requires a perfect headshot to kill small game. After the second grouse that I shot flew away and had to track it (never thought I'd ever track a grouse through the woods) i decided I will never shoot another animal with this round.

Quiet and accurate in my bolt. Less accurate in my 10/22. Does cycle my 10/22 and has a hard time to eject even manually. Great for bolts

Not for semi-auto firearms. I fired these in my bolt action Marlin and they do not sound all that quiet. Even more noise in my revolvers. More like a 22 short as far as noise. Didn't really test for accuracy. Buy these if nothing else is available for casual target practice.

Nice and quiet. Pretty accurate, can't understand some of the negative reviews. You should know what your semi needs to cycle and not quiet enough ?? give me a break. I love this ammo for plinking and target practice .

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPERATE IN SEMI AUTO FIREARMS.. That being said this product is fantastic value for the money. Quiet is an understatement. Accurate as all heck out to 50 yards but 25 seems to be the magic yardage. Do not show yourself to be foolish by writing bad reviews after you try in a semi auto. Oh yeah it did run very well in a Winchester Wildcat surprisingly enough.

I was surprized at how quiet these rounds were. I had to check the bore to see if the bullet cleared the barrel.

Very low noise and also a good group at 35 yards. Nice plinky round without disturbing the neighbors

I get these because I don't want to ask the government for permission for something that we shouldn't have to ask permission for to have to begin with

I like the concept of it being quiet but it did not cycle my Marlin semi-auto. I suppose they'd be great in a bolt, pump or lever action 22.

Recently used these rounds in a .22 bolt action rifle. Super quiet!!! And was getting 3/4” groupings at 25 yards, and 1” groupings at 50 yards. Will definitely be purchasing more when they’re back in stock.
